Its obvious he didn't pay off the right people or pissed someone off. Most likely the former. In Brazil, the law is just a vehicle for the authorities to take money. It could well be they "discovered" some cp on his computer. It is a hugely corrupt country. I made the mistake of renting a car and driving around Brazil and had to pay many "fines" for stupid shit. I am not talking about ten bucks a time, but 50 to a hundred bucks a pop. So 2257 records wouldn't mean shit to them.

At least if he had the records, he could have tried. Perhaps you are correct and he didnt pay off the right person, but we cant say for sure whether he had the records it would have been different.

It looks like he's going to need them now.

Eventually this is going to happen here in the US....
