Nick and I are looking to hire several positions over the next few weeks as we begin to flex some of the new projects we've had in development.
The first position is a very crucial one.
We are looking for someone to be the full time caretaker of oprano.
This person would would resume the original responsibilities that mike and serge hired me for.
Day to day board whoring, working with our crack team of moderators, the care and feeding of the bot family.....spam and sig.....
Really there is more responsibilites here than I can list. Suffice to say this is a key position with the family.
So to start off please send a resume/essay to gonzo@oprano.com along with your salary requirements.
This is a serious solicitation for applicants. My consulting job takes up at least 40 hours a week.
Nick is very busy with his projects as well. We need some help!

the smartest thing Nick and Gonzo could do would be to hire Juicy. He's popular, maybe not among Nick, but people like him, and he's 100 users in himself
He may post a lot of bullshit, but he could also probably post a lot of biz-related stuff if he set his mind to it.

I wanted to clarify what we are looking for in this slot.
We are looking for more of a person in a marketing position.... that is to bring even more new blood to Oprano. This isnt an easy job as this is not an easy community to be put in charge of.....
We are getting some applicants that might htink we are looking for a techincal person. Technick already is the evil overseer of the Oprano properties.... this is more of "personality" type position.
We've also got a few applications from people that have just joined or have never posted. Its going to be tough to consider folks that are unknown to be the HNIC of Oprano. The community is tough and savvy and it would be a major challenge.
Nick and I are reviewing the folks we have now and before we head into conclave we would like to look at anyone that has an interest.

Someone will fall out of the sky. We are talking to several people right now... many of which are excellent in their own rights. Running this resource on a day to day basis isnt as easy as it looks.
Its not a techy position as one would think.
Its not a post whore position.
Its a bartender type postion ... you have to know how to consistanly mix the drink to suit everyones tase and the be the straw that stirs the drink.
