Smarter people across the board here than most other places and worth joining in.
The Oprano board is like the Boy Scouts - "Be Prepared"

Boy scouts my ass! :P
Oprano is a crucible, a baptism by fire, for those who are new here. But it is only the latest in a long line of them ... First the original YNOT, later Netpond when Serge was there, in some ways (on some days) GFY can be like that (except it also suffers myriad fools too gladly) ... But Oprano definitely is.
I wouldn't say "no spin zone" is an apt motto or ever was apt for this place. Mike and Serge certainly always had their own "spin" and let others spin in their own various ways.
But this place does like to seperate the chaff from the wheat.
