Ok, this thought came to me long ago at a bar. And it came up again last night at the bar. Natch, pretty much everyone there agreed with me. hehe Now, let's see how well bar logic / talk works in the real world.
![]() I came up with the notion that there are only 256 "master molds" of people in the world. First, why that number? I decided it has to do with binary, has to have some sort of structure to it. 128 seemed a bit low. 512 too high. Ok, what do I mean? I mean there's basically 256 "molds" that gets pressed and that everyone is some sorta of variation on the theme. ![]() To explain it better, ever see someone who looks like someone else? Reminds you of someone else? Who you see and you say, "that could be so-and-so's brother if he had one"? Or, you know, she reminds me of a heavy Barbara Streisand? Or if that guy had hair he'd be a ringer for Danzel Washington? And we've all seen those "seperated at birth" photos side-by-side ... So there it is. 256 master molds and everyone else a variant. ![]() Thoughts? (Other than that I'm totally insane.) |
