Sabby, other than the avatar of your impossibly cute tush, I've seen only one pic of you. Frankly, I don't think you could look anything other than stunning if you tried. If you try the braids and don't like them, they come right back out again.
I really felt for you with that "brushing the knot" out thing after work. That must be hell. I've had to do the "brush until your eyes water from the pain" bit on occasion and it sucks. I can't even imagine what it must be like to do it frequently. Something obviously got you thinking about this and wanting to do it. Go with your gut.  (My Mom used to say that like a mantra.)
