Hair - What should I do ???
 

Okay I have been thinking for awhile about doing cornrow braids, down to waist and beaded. (Kinda like the "bo derek "10" look but we can do this longer and fuller)

I really like this idea because although it will cost a bit more than regular hair extentions, they will last 3 months with no care or maintenance at all. And I will avoid the big "fuck me knot" that I always end up with at the end of my cam shift that is such a bitch to comb out!

Also the 3 months are going to coincide with my initial content shoot for my new site.

Are braids hot? Hot enough to sell big? Or should I stick the the "classic" blonde bimbo look and maybe phase in the braids later?

Guys. I need a male opinion...

My vote is for "classic" but that's just me and to each their own. Do what you believe you look good in and feel comfortable in.

Can you do both? Have initial "tried and true" content shot, then get the braids done, and have content shot with that...subtly letting your surfers know that all manner of wild and wicked new things occur inside your site?

I personally love the braid look....

Having said that I haven't seen your face so I wouldn't know if it will suit you. Doesn't always look good on everyone.

Why do white girls want to do braids? It NEVER works for them.

Sabby it would just make you look trashy. You have nice hair, don't do anything stupid to mess it up. ( I know many women have a strange complusion to change up their hair from time to time, and many fuck it up.)

If you want to do something different, do something not permanent - make some nice pigtails! ( I would like to see that!)

But for cornrows, save that for the rappers girl!

Yeah then you'd be the same size , you'd only be lacking the British Accent, wit ,charm , humour and cash required.Oh and I do believe Cuddly duddly had a full head of hair.

I know you asked for male opinions Sabby... But, I don't think you should get braids. I've seen your pictures before and I think that you look great.

You definitely look much better now than you would with braids Honey. But, that's just my opinion...

Sabby, other than the avatar of your impossibly cute tush, I've seen only one pic of you. Frankly, I don't think you could look anything other than stunning if you tried. If you try the braids and don't like them, they come right back out again.

I really felt for you with that "brushing the knot" out thing after work. That must be hell. I've had to do the "brush until your eyes water from the pain" bit on occasion and it sucks. I can't even imagine what it must be like to do it frequently.

Something obviously got you thinking about this and wanting to do it. Go with your gut. :) (My Mom used to say that like a mantra.)

Definitely no braids! You would know more about this than I do but it seems like it might piss off your fans that like you a certain way.

I was getting my hair done recently and some woman next to me wanted the long extensions and cornrows and the stylist was trying to talk her out of it because she said it was really expensive and incredibly heavy on your head to the point of causing headaches etc.

Actually when my extentions start to get thin and Im getting due to have them filled. I put my hair in a ponytail and pin up the sides and just clip on a long hair peice on the back. It works great, the guys love it and I can just take it off at the end of my shift and not worry about any knots.

All the girls in my cam studio either have extentions or they use hair peices. I have a big wall of hair of all colors hanging in the laundry room. We are tres Glam.

The clip ins work great for cam, but for pics they are way too obviously fake.

That reminds me, I DID have braids before. When I was 19 and working as a waitress I went on a Caribean cruise with a girl I worked with.

A lady on the beach in Grenada I think it was, did my hair in cornrows for like 10 bucks. I have really fine hair and she didnt add in any extra hair and they looked really stupid. I also got a sunburned head, LOL.
