You should remember that red rope, I was helping push recruits and temporarily assigned to work as a company commander in Fla in 1980. You know the type, had metal taps on the bottom of my shoes and kicked trashcans and scared the crap out of recruits, shut the door and laughed about it. Navy was good to me, hell I gave them nearly 10 years :-) Went in at 18 can came out and went back in within 9 months for a second tour, and extended once.
