I was in investment banking for 12 years and am very versed in the history.
My point is that there are more productive ways to capitalize on the inevitable.
Are you doing anything to capitalize on the realities besides burning your money?
Just because people are idiots doesn't mean I shouldn't speak the truth, whether they grasp it or not.
I am not hear to discuss investments, only to deface the govenrnment and its Alien plans and interest earning families that arte in power.
I dont like the fact that some Rockefeller daddy's boy had a say so on what our Federal Reserve logo looks like. That bird and shield is their family crest, nothing to do with Freedom or Liberty.

Chip?
I was merely quoting some info on the Federal Reserve, you brought it upon yourself to say that info was a waste of my time. Which I don't think it is.
Posting info like that is what I do, so you may want to get used to it.
Id have a drink but its too early.
Partying tonight though.

It is with great wisdom that monetary policy is kept separate from the executive office. It is no secret that the Federal Reserve system is not truly "federal". Nor is it truly private. This is quite a matter of public record and anyone versed in even a modicum of government structure knows it. I roll my eyes at yer conspiracy.
Would you like to give Mr. Bush control of monetary policy?
Sorry, fellas. Fiat money is here to stay. Au, hell. All money is fiat money because basing reserves on today's price of some gold colored metal being held in a vault somewhere is not one iota better. There were great problems with that. Remember?
Today's monetary policy is much better than that prior to the great war. Compare the latter half of the twentieth century with the economic shocks of the first half or even worse the latter half of the 19th century. What a miserable mess. During hard economic times, there wasn't enough liquidity to provide business owners with loans to get going again. The financial machinations of our generation are specifically designed against the problems that were experienced in the past.
Will we have new problems on our hands? Of course we will. We must move forward though and not backward. The not too distant past was much worse - with systematic shock after shock after shock - than anything my generation has ever seen. For if one were to shed the institutions of the day in some naive hope that today's most pressing problems would be solved one would only walk the path back to whence one came.

I don't like dollars. Euros look much nicer.
I hate the fact that dollars are all the same color and size.
Even though when euro was launched I considered it to look a bit like monopoly money, but I sort of like them pink €500 bills

Yessir! And the current poison looks to me to be a little less potent than the prior.

And the new $20 bill is a step backwards. Looks like someone colored my money and then through it in with the last resistant batch of stone-washed jeans.

Amen

One boot, two hands, and the common sense to tell the bank that at least 51% of the bills are there so I should be given fresh ones to replace them...
That's all it would take.
