What is the difference between 'class=' and 'span=' . They appear to be the same thing to me?

mutt... a class is a label given to a set of preferences for a tag...
for example, if you had a page with multi colored backgrounds and wanted the href tag to be a different color in different places, you would set a 'class' for the 'a' tag in your stylesheet header.

a.white {color: white; }

is to set the class ... a.classname

then when you want to use the class you go

so basically a class can be defined to any html tag.

A span is used more for paragraphs and sets layout preferences for a paragraph surrounded by the tags ... you can set spacing, font type etc in a span.

so the short answer, a span is for laying out, a class is for setting properties of a tag :-)

JMM - sorry to be so cynical but this story sounds so similar to one of those old hindu (or budhist) religious lessons. Bagavat Ghita, etc.. What goes around comes around is a very old concept. I'm sure even the Bible must have a version of it.

I'm not saying it didn't happen, just that it is a very old story, that has been told a thousand times in different languages with different players.

Unfortunately my experiences as a photojournalist taught me that history is not reported truely even when a video camera is pointed at it and it is going out live.

So what if the nobleman was not really near the scene and a servant actually did the deed, it sounds better to have the nobleman involved.

WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND

His name was Fleming, and he was a poor Scottish farmer. One

Blondy - In rural South East Asia ganja is a pretty common herb and to this day no-one really thinks badly of it.

Just jumping in here, I've never worked with either MelissaD or Smutcash, but it seems like we have two sides who both want to work an issue out, but don't want to budge in order to get it worked out. Tyler wants MelissaD to provide documentation about the agreement she had with Klient, which she either doesn't have in writing or doesn't want to provide (unless I missed it somewhere). MelissaD wants Tyler to get all the information from Klient, which he apparantly doesn't want to do for whatever reason.

When you hit an impasse, somebody's gotta budge in order to solve the problem, and usually, the one who budges in the interest of solving the problem is the better of the two.

First your 2 cents aren't worth a whole lot posting anon. In my experience if you are afraid of the backlash of what you say by posting anon then you shouldn't be saying it.

Second, I haven't ever come out and bashed or said anything bad about anybody except for SmutCash. Usually I post things that positive, etc. In fact I've been accused of being sickening so positive.

Third I haven't said anything bad against Greg or any of the Aussies except to say if you were having problems with them you should seek a lawyer. As far as his business goes well that is his, if he chooses to interveiw with Luke Ford that is his choice, makes for fun reading sometimes.

Fourth, we can only go by our own experiences, if yours are good that is great, in fact I believe I asked for some positive feedback on SmutCash, mmm don't remember getting any.

Fifth,We all have a choice in who we do business with sometimes we learn the hard way who that should be sometimes we learn the easy way.

Sixth, Part of being an active member in any industry is being able to stand up and say I made a mistake. I made a mistake in doing business with SmutCash. Its my hope by sharing my mistake that someone else doesn't make it.

Good morning everyone I have found a great replacement for SmutCash.com, checked thier references, and sent some sample traffic, conversions are good. Its going to be a great day. I'm off to yoga class and lunch with my mentor. Have a great day :)

I never got to meet author William Goldman, who wrote that (book and screenplay) and the screenplays for "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid", "Magic", "Stepford Wives", "Marathon Man" and myriad others. Love his writing! But I used to know one of his two daughters. The book and movie came out of his asking his then-young daugthers what would they like him to write especially for them? One said a story about a brige, the other a story about a princess. :-))
