I've personally put more faith in conversion ratios of shows vs clicks then "how many come through the door" since not everyone clicks. :-))

As to what advertisers want, as KK and others said recently, it's different with each advertiser what each is looking at/for, so I take them each one at a time. :-)

[I know you're going to ask Serge, so ... of those who left: 2 severely reduced or totally elimiated their advertising from ALL resources, 1 left for the summer (again from everywhere) but WILL be back in September, 1 got bought by another company (who was already advertising with us), 1 pretty much disappered from the face of the earth advertising-wise, 2 switched ads over to Sounding Point (as it fit their targeted demographics better.)]

So with all the recent talk of boards and resources, I say advertiser consistency speaks volumes!! :-)))

did you see in slow motion how Oprano was making it's first step???

MikeAI and me learned somethign over the years on the net....

1) first we used archaic script and started prmoting,

2) took us over a week, with
lousy old script, no sponsors, slow shared server, but we kept promoting and got first sponsor

3) while working onnthe script and promoting even more,
we got more sponsors,
so when the bill for new server and programming arrived-
there were sponsors money in the bank to pay for it.

4) boards die and born around us,
we still keep promoting,
cuz I'll never forget that:
Heather opened few days before us with the best script I ever seen and....
closed it in 2 days because of bad promotion and bad publicity.
