KB as I posted last night, you and your brother have always treated me well. IT is ashame there is a conflcit in dates for both of our parties.

The Player Hater Ball is a private event, and thus the only people who will be there, are those who are friends and associates in THIS indsutry. We keep things low key on purpose, we do not want our party mentioned in "Vibe Magazine". ( Maybe Forbes)

The only Celeb that will be there, is playing host for this party - and he is doing it as a favor for Brad. Thus there is no bookings for us to make, or money to pay out... remember these parties are thrown with the change I find in Brad's sofa!

Mutt, harry Potter isn't just for the kids ;)

I bought the first book for my son and read it on a flight from Vancovuer and fell in love with the book...it's a kid's book, but not a children's book..it's not Dick and jane type stuff, but good old fashioned fantasy....wizards and witches and magic and dragons and even a living chess board...amazing stuff...I recomend it for kids and adults alike...I was going to slip out and go see the matinee this morning, but would have felt weird being the only adult there by my self...so will have to wait til my kids are up here next time ;)))

MelissaD,
"The rates I showed are direct from paypal, and they are for subscription processing, not their standard non adult processing."

Where would I find this on the PayPal website?

We have been using paypal on two of our paysites for a while now and are paying 2.9% and .30 per transaction. I can find nowhere on the paypal site that lists these "fees" you talk about. And in numerous email conversations with PayPal while originally setting our sites up for paypal subscription payments no "extra fees" were ever mentioned, nor have any been charged to this point.

Hey Serge you know I'm a J.A.P. from way back and I'm all about the deal - why do you think I brought Oprano the first crack at this over a month ago? Not that % start at 9% I can start them at 8% and lower, depending on the product hense why where I come in.

OH yeah for those of you who don't know - Jewish American Princess = J.A.P.

Jettis and ACH are great products as well as other 3rd party processors---- didn't say they weren't. BUT can they/will they raise their hands and say they will give 8% with no $$ commitment?

I will.

"and according to KB,
PlayerHaters Ball unannounced Special Entertainer might be BIGGER than
Player's Ball unannounced Special Entertainer"

Did I mention that D$ has only bids on the performers in question nothing confirmed.....but I'll say this much, The confirmed guest list of celebrities this go round will be like nothing anyone has ever seen before!

Players ball's have had guests like Oscar winning Michael Clark Duncan, Heavyweight Champ Mike Tyson, Skateboard King Tony Hawk, That 70's Show co star, Ashton Kutcher, and not to mention Rashid Wallace Shannon Sharp, Omar Vizquel, and Kid Rock who have all been there,

Unlike past Players Balls that were cramped and mostly "rap" oriented, this one offers every webmaster something different, all in a venue that is the BIGGEST ever for any party I have ever frequented at a tradeshow.

If you miss this one, you'll miss out on a good one.

However, I am hoping I get an invite to the Player Haters Ball,

I'd feel like I slipped from "A" List to "B" list with Mike if I wasn't there!

After seeing Andy E get evicted from one of Mikes parties I am a fan for life!

I will say this much, Mike does throw one hell of a party and he is always a gracious and hospitable host.....

However, the heartburn after a Mike AI party is something that lasts longer than a tradeshow!

I'm confused Serge

Double digits - 10% or higher

jettis says
You're Tired of Paying 15% for CC Processing
Jettis processing rates are 12.5%....always. Discounts are available for large accounts.
Call 1-800-4-JETTIS or e-mail sales@jettis.com for a quote.

ACHDebit says:
Web Transaction Services basic service fee is 15% of gross ACH

Those look like double digits to me....

As far as you paying that - you are always the exception to the rule.

ACH only takes from US, per their web page.

Paypal works just like ibill, jettis, ccbill, when it comes to credit cards, as well as handling their direct debit transfers that work in over 38 countries.

You know I'm a numbers girl.

I'm curious here (and perhaps playing devils advocate, since of course we are one of those double digit charging processors) --

if someone from this board just goes and signs up for paypal on their own -- how does it benefit you Melissa?

I certainly can't imagine that without some direct correlation between you and a client that anyone would pay commission. Are they paying you commission on all adult accounts?

I have no comment on paypal whatsoever, just curious as to why you are pushing it with no apparent gain...

Moose,etc.

The rates I showed are direct from paypal, and they are for subscription processing, not their standard non adult processing.

Because of the higher risk. My point in all of this and the reason I have partnered with them is simple, they provide the same if not better processing, have the added bonus of non adult end user recognition, and THEY FIGHT EVERY SINGLE CHARGEBACK!!, not to mention paypal actually acts on what is suggested to them. I have in the past had and have similar partnerships with other processors. Not every processor is perfect for everyone. I believe my company name is BILLINGURU.com, hense I was bringing a billing solution that haven't been commonly used by this industry. :)

I have the terms and conditions, I also have the terms and conditions to process adult subscriptions, which isn't on their site at this point.

I would hope that you might want a guide to the ins and outs of paypal, hense my services are offered at NO CHARGE to the YOU.

nice! 500 BUCKS!

ok i think we are going to have new people joining in.

The number you see to the right of the games is the spread. That number
pertains to the team on the LEFT. If it's a MINUS NUMBER that means you are giving the other team on the RIGHT points.
ie St Louis VS New Orleans -7 means
New Orleans starts off the game with a 7-0 lead.

Serge - don't worry - I've been collecting cans alongside the highway on my days off... I've got about 11.3 metric tons of aluminimum stored in the back room at the office - and Mike thought I was crazy! ;)

Mutt - I told you I'm a renaissance man! Anglophile (Bloody buggery bollocks, you wanker!), Aussophile(I'm no Dag, - hoisted my first tinny of fosters when I was 16 and did'nt chunder!), Europhile (But I HATE Nescafe'), Japanophile (anime and sushi are my favorite things!) and Hotbabeophile (brunettes)! I'm a world travelled and well edumacated "rogue" scholar! I chose N.O. because its culturally diverse and has air you can swim in! Bon Vivant!

Interesting comment on the APIC situation --

seems the tgp operator in question built somewhere in the neighborhood of 9000 gallery pages of his own, using content that didn't exactly belong to him.

He dosed his tgp liberally with those galleries as well it would seem.

"Call-kelly for sale on ebay,
Call-kelly.com, number 8 on sextracker, 550,000 unique visitors per day."

Those call-kelly surfers are probably not very productive. They were spoon fed HIGH QUALITY HARDCORE in high volume. It was a gift from above for all surfers and they probably won't be inclined to pull out the CC.

Just something to keep in mind if bidding.
