My favorite scene from "Death race 2000" was Sylvester Stallone as Machine Gun Joe Verturbo (sp?) standing as the crowd boos him and starts firing a machine gun into the crowd...

Yeah, there's some really good Italian horror stuff out there, basically anything by Lucio Fulci, Dario Argento and Joe D'Amato and even some Mario Bava (especially anything from the late 70's, his early 80's stuff is ok, but then he made about 3000 "Exorcist" ripoffs....)

One of the most disturbing images from Italian horror has to be from Argento's "Terror At The Opera" with the chick getting the needles taped under her eyes forcing her to watch her "fan" kill people and the scene in "Creeper" with the monkey running through the woods with the straight razor...then of course the scene in "Suspiria" with the woman trapped in the room full of razor wire, trying to reach a window to get out and falling back into the razor wire slicing herself up...

yeah Death Race 2000 was great.. that image of the guy who got his back burned off under the tire of a race car has stayed with me from childhood LOL

I liked "Return of The Texas Chainsaw Masscare" too...Rennee Zelweiger was better in that than in "Nurse Betty (a very underrated film).

I've also heard good word of mouth about Rob Zombie's movie "House Of 1000 Corpses" which sadly the studio dubbed "too disturbing and rwalistic". That's what I want..I'm sick and tired of this Dawson's Creek serial killer crap. "Scream" was ok, but it went downhill and don't even remind me of those "I Know What You Did" crapfests (now, had Jennifer Love Hewitt had a lesbian scene with Brandy, I could have overlooked the crapfest of a sequel ;)))

Other flicks, that aren't really horror movies, I could have added are "Death Race 2000", "Galaxy Of Terror" and "They Live".

'Tis the season and I'm in the mood, so here are MY Top 10 HORROR MOVIES OF ALLLLLL TIME!

1. The Exorcist - this movie still scares the shit out of me. More frightening than Bruce Jenner in a dress.

2. Texas Chainsaw Massacre - there was a recent remake with Renee Zellwegger and Matthew McConaughey that I totally recommend also, Renee is the sweetest and cutest she's ever been in this movie, and believe me that's a lot of sweet and cute AND she's being chased by a guy with a chainsaw. Cool.

3. Evil Dead

4. Army of Darkness - Gimme some sugar baby! Bruce Campbell is truly the MAN!!

5. Pumpkinhead - I thought I was just renting some B movie horror film. Wrong. Lance Henriksen's finest hour.

6. The Shining

7. Event Horizon - a recent film, but sure to be a classic

8. Amityville Horror

9. Halloween - My first horror film :)

10. A Nightmare On Elm Street

I'm sure I'm forgetting some good ones.. there was a recent movie that was about some people being stuck in a giant rotating cube and they had to figure out how to get to the outside by going from room to boobytrapped room, anyone remember the title of that one?

Wow, what a night of trick or treating with the kids...there was one house in which the lovely lady answering the door kept leaning forward to put pieces of candy into the buckets of small childdren.
