NotAnthony,

Given 10x better CTR and 2x better
sign-up ratios, 50k TGP2 traffic is equivalent to 1 million hits TGP1 traffic. The email I posted below testifies to that. That webmaster is getting more traffic to his sponsor from SmutFix than he is from one of the top 3 sites on the net. He is very excited about that.

My 20k TGP2 traffic made twice as much as my 200k TGP1 traffic in October. I am so confident others will find similar numbers that I post them here for everyone!

Who cares about hits? I care about dollars. Years ago, I made 10x as much money with 10x less traffic when I moved from CJ to SE.

TGP2 works.

Serge, I missed this cuz I was at bank depositing TGP2 $$$.

THIS IS FIRE!

Aug 15 1,000 hits
Sep 7 10,000.
Sep 21 100,000.
Oct 29 263,936

Source: TGP2 Stats

Hard to imagine a steeper growth curve.

With phenomenal growth rate and 20% average CTR's on TGP2s, TGP2 is causing a LOT of webmasters to take notice. TGP2 is getting close to 500 webmasters (of this I'm sure) and will surely hit 1000 by New Year's.
My mailbox is full of TGP1 people designing TGP2s.

Ok, I feel I have to step in here and say a few words about the TGP2 Project. I have been closely watching the entire birth and growth of TGP2 from the very beginning, and with the help of some of my fellow Insite crew, have even made a commitment to making this project grow.

There are a few specific comments I would like to address:

==================================
But as long as the people bringing in big traffic are making money, it will be hard to change their minds.
==================================

Insite Adult is indeed bringing in big traffic and making money. Yet that has definitely not deterred us from giving not only our public support of TGP2, but has also hired staff, created a brand new program specifically for the TGP2 webmasters ( http://www.tgp2bucks.com ), and to top it all off, started a TGP2 known as http://www.smutfix.com. Insite currently pumps 50k hits per DAY into Smut Fix, enabling TGP2 webmasters to make some serious money. So are the TGP2 Webmasters starving for traffic and/or money? I don't think so. A little more research on the subject might clarify things a bit more for you, Geeky. As more and more traffic is fed into this project, not only from Insite, but from several other sources, the project will continue to grow. Already several TGPs have, for the lack of a better word, "converted" into TGP2s. In addition, Colin has statistics that solidly show that TGP2 Traffic converts MUCH better than TGP1 traffic. If you would like to see them, let me know and I will be happy to provide them to you.

===================================
I've been giving the TGP2 thing a try. I don't see how it can succeed as long as you can go to The Hun and view very clean 15+ pic galleries without fear of being hit by a console within 2 clicks of his site...
===================================

How long have you tried it, and how long ago, Cleo? There is a LOT of traffic being pumped into the project, and you cannot help but make money from the increased payouts and FREE traffic. Perhaps you should have a look again, you will be surprised at the rate of growth in JUST the past two months.

===================================
TGP2 comes down to build more and get less traffic. Even if I do get more sign-ups per volume of traffic it still means less sin-ups in the end for what is just as much work.
===================================

Again, Cleo, I will point out that Insite Adult is pumping in over 50,000 hits per DAY into the project alone...and we are not alone. Traffic is definitely not an issue here. You must compare apples to apples, oranges to oranges. Approximately how many webmasters submit galleries to major TGP1s at this time? I am sure most webmasters would agree that a safe bet would place that number well into the thousands. How many webmasters currently submit galleries to TGP2s? I know for a fact that this number is in the hundreds. Once you compare both TGP2 and TGP1 on a level field, you will see that the saturation rate of traffic availability vs webmaster submissions is essentially the same, if not in favor of, the TGP2 webmasters.

===================================
As someone who is somewhat new to this business, less then 3 years, I find this business to be much like a video game, the more success you have the harder it is to get to the next level.
===================================

Cleo, your comparison to a video game is a good one. However, I view it differently. I look beyond the "it's harder to get to the next level" aspect. The next level isn't necessarily harder to reach...sometimes you just have to be innovative and look beyond the "tried and true" conventional methods to get where it is you want to be.

===================================
U got me wrong. I am low maitnenance when it comes to expecting anything domestic or motherly from a woman ie Laundry, cooking.
I just like to do my own thing without being made to feel guilty.
===================================

mutt, I've got the perfect solution for you. Cheaper than a wife, too... http://www.realdoll.com/lite/dolls/models.html ;-)))))

hehe...on that note, I wish everyone a Happy Halloween!

;-))))))))

John Rutsey was the drummer on the first album Rush
Think he split the night before their first Amearica tour or something like that

Obviously Rush wouldn't be the same band they are now without Neil Peart

All the songs on the first album are about women and working

Here's my Paul Harvey type story for today.

My aunt was smart when she started her record stores. She stayed in the background in the back office. And she hired the coolest looking long haired freaks to work and manage the store. I got to go visit the store once a month and all the hippy chicks smelling like that hippy oil would play with me. The manager of the store was very cool and nice and would give me an album or cassette free. The long haired manager, Neil, also played the drums pretty good.

Name the drummer/manager.

Cleo,

The growth has been phenomenal. On August 15, there were just 1000 hits or so being traded between all TGP2s. Just three weeks later, there were 10,000. By the middle of
September, more than 100,000. By the end of October, between 200,000 and 250,000 visitors a day were being traded between TGP2 sites.

TGP2 is on a steeeeep upward curve.

A young boy went up to his father and asked him, "Dad,
what is the difference between potentially and realistically?" The
father thought for a moment, then answered, "Go ask your mother if
she would sleep with Robert Redford for a million dollars. Then ask your
sister if she would sleep with Brad Pitt for a million dollars, and ask your
brother if he'd sleep with Tom Cruise for a million dollars.
Come back and tell me what you learn from that."
So the boy went to his mother and asked, "Would you sleep with
Robert Redford for a million dollars?" The mother replied, "Of course I would!
We could really use that money to fix up the house and send
you kids to a great college!"
The boy then went to his sister and asked, "Would you sleep with
Brad Pitt for a million dollars?" The girl replied, "Oh my God! I LOVE Brad Pitt!
I would sleep with him in a heartbeat, are you nuts?!?!?"
The boy then went to his brother and asked, "Would you
sleep with Tom Cruise for a million dollars?" "Of course," the
brother replied. "Do you know how much a million could buy
The boy pondered that for a few days, then went back to
his dad. His father asked him, "Did you find out the difference
between potentially and realistically?"
The boy replied, "Yes, sir. Potentially, we're sitting on
three million dollars, but realistically, we're living with two sluts and a fag!

While we are on the topic of type-ins Rick, have all these dns type redirects -- i.e. someone types in sex in a browser without the .com and it doesn't resolve to the .com automatically hurt the type in business?
***********************************

To be honest.....that was the way it was for the first few years. Then they used it without the .com for a very short time. Maybe 9 months or so. It added a few percent to the traffic but it was marginal as most folks type in the .com

Meanwhile as of last weekend our traffic is at record levels again and that was before we turned the clocks back and before winters bad weather sets in.

I paid cinema price for Memento. I liked it a lot, but I was expecting more from the climax of the movie... But it was still very well done. The scene in the bar was funny...

I am sure that the typeins for Sex.com are not what they used to be
*********************************

Webfather, may we have your comments on that?

************************************

I would change only one word. Change the word "Type ins" for the word "Profit" and that would be accurate.

:-))

Not a dig....When you have a vehicle like sex.com, why not try as many different scenarios as possible. Never know when you tap into the winning formula. At the end of the day they may find that the straight line is still the best and most profitable way to get from point "A" to point "B." :-))

As for traffic.......I would imagine that sex.com is flirting with a record number of type ins at the moment. Not a bad place to be.

Then again you must analyze that traffic as it may not be what it seems since so much of it is made up of kids and those looking for something other than adult stuff. That is why I would say a type in to shavedtwats.com may have a lot more potentcy than one to sex.com.

I watched memento last night. The first few minutes it was very akward to watch. But over time I got the hang of it, and really did enjoy the movie.

It is rare that a movie makes a person think...

I gotta agree about "Memento" - great flick that makes you think all the way through it. I haven't had the chance to watch it again, but is a movie that would be interesting to watch the second time, knowing what you know from the first time thru.

I just posted a Reuters story at http://www.opranoplus.com about warez and porn pirates on the increase.

Peer to peer thievery is going to kill us eventually. A little personal story, I have an aunt and uncle(deceased now), they were the losers of the family, uncle had a cool army and navy store but it made nothing, back in like 1970 a guy named Sam from Toronto who had a successful record store on Canada's main street started franchising. My uncle came to my dad looking for some money to buy one of these franchises. So the rest of the family fronted them the scary
15 grand to buy a record store franchise. Anyways Sam The Record Man became the largest music retailer in Canada.
My aunt worked her ass off for twenty years adding stores, up to i think 10 of them, became wealthy. Passed on the stores to my cousin.
Sam's declared bankruptcy yesterday.
Not sure how this is going to affect my cousin's business, depends on the franchise agreement. But he told me a few months ago that his business has been cut in half by Napster and its clones.

Porn business will suffer the same fate. As we head to broadband and people start downloading the latest Hollywood blockbusters in the same way they now download MP3's the government will have to step in. There is no way to get people to understand copyrights and what they are doing is stealing. I do it all the time.

"Momento" was an excellent flick.

Even though it was made last year, I didn't see it til this year, so my favorite movie that I saw this year was "Requiem For A Dream" followed closely by "Battle Royale" (holy smokes, high school kids on an island killing each other off before the neck collars they wear explode...sadly probably won't see a theatrical release in the states and video release is even remote possibility...thank godness for Morph-- um, Internet word of mouth ;))))))
