Sponsors that don't pay recorded signups are one thing...I ditch them as soon as the check doesn't cum, and the emails aren't returned.

Sponsors that take my traffic, ok, maybe it aint "mine" cause I got it from someplace, and turn around and shave the signups or redirect someplace else, or record it IF they pay by CC but not if they do by check, etc...PISS ME OFF!

Granted, I am just one of the "worker bees", or as Serge referred to us "newbies", "sheppards in training"...But still, I thought we had a deal? I send you "my" traffic and if they signup, you pay me? Please don't quote me that one line sentence on your 53 page FAQ/Terms page that would take 5 professional lawyers and a judge to figure out what it meant! If you are a sponsor and you want "my" traffic, just do a couple of simple things up front...

1: Tell me, which types of signups do I get paid for, and how much?

2: What are your enter/exit consoles like? Do I have a place on any of them?

Don't get me wrong...I am only a couple years old in the biz and it really didn't take me long to figure out what shave meant...I figured that out real quickly! My name is CactusButt because I have to shave my ass twice a day and I still get razor stubble...But I knew from the get-go I'd be getting lots more shaves when I got into this business.

Got XP Pro installed on my new workstation, works like a charm and fast as hell. I found the best software in the world for copying hd's, etc. Problem with most ppl is they buy a new system, and have trouble copying everything over to the new HD, files, settings, bookmarks, icq list, etc. this software does it all. Hooked my new system on the network, installed the software on both systems, it packed up my HD and copied it through the network. from Old win98 station to new Win XP pro station, not 1 glitch..

That's the KeyPoint. I looked around and couldn't find any tie in software they are distributing the ad prog with. It'll be interesting to find out how they're really pushing it out there.

Regarding Gator and IAB, that situation arose after they started replacing website banners directly on the site itself, but they really didn't have major issues relating to the pop ups etc.

There has been lots of discussion on another board about that software program. My take on it was that it was being piggy-backed with other software. Although I havent seen proof of that, one way or the other.
*If* that's the case, then I think it's pretty shitty. "disclosing" intentions like that and burying it in the middle of an end user agreement, or software license.. Who reads those? They tend to give you a one inch square box and it's 50 scrolls deep in small font....
Sounds about as dirty as telling someone they've "won" something at the checkout counter, then billing them for it and hoping they dont look at the receipt..
