News/current events started to bore me years and years ago. For most of the past 12 years news has been predictable.

There will be a weather disaster.
There will be a transportation disaster. There is a war being fought somewhere. Then you just fill in details; times and places.

This is Soros' view of historic events at any rate. I dig it. Most events are not historic in that sense. For most of us, this has been a historic month.

Despite the historic events, all the "expert" TV commentary this week is mundane. Same thing with stock "experts". Same thing with play by play analysis. A horrible cacophonic montage of copy -n - paste newscasting. Hardly anything unique or original is said. THIS is entertainment?! I would guess that the average CNN audience is less than + 18 points.
