I feel out of touch with a lot of today's music as well...but I'm dancing like a stripper with a g-string full of hundreds over MudVayne winning the MTV2 award, which was an award voted on by the fans...amazing in the day and age of boy bands, jailbait and studio conceived groups that a thrash band who screams and growls can win a fan voted award....proof of the power of the internet, these guys had a huge net campaign going...and it paid off :)

Serge, I know everyone is looking for some "dirt". But to everyone's total disappointment there isn't any to tell. Honestly.

It was fun, and it was at times stressful, and usually a bit of both. Fact of the matter is: deciding on a topic, rounding up guests, doing "homework" (when necessary) for a show, picking out news items, doing promotion, working up that night's guest and commercials schedule, the actual time doing the show, yadda yadda .... It all added up to about eight hours a week.

That's either a full day's work or at least part of a day's work. Either way though, that's a sizeable chunk of time that I felt needed to be directed towards projects with a tremendously greater profit potential.

... Or the short answer is: it comes down to pure economics. :-)

I am very happy to announce that RawAlex and VegasLee have joined forces with me, to give me some much needed help in producing this Year's Adultdex event. The three major network stations are broadcasting HD here in several different formats.. Dish Network has a couple of HDTV chans.. but it's a bunch cheaper to get it free off the antenna.. what i'm wondering about hd.net is if they do like the network stations.. they broadcast in HD format but a lot of the material wasn't shot in HD.. so you get a nice "not really hdtv all the time" picture..

Jay Leno show in full HDTV format is an eye popper.. the superbowl was in HDTV last year which was very cool.. I'm not ready to pay for the satellite channels till they get some more good HD format stuff to show.

Noticed you said you had the new pronto.. here's something you may dig as well.. it will interface with all your existing remote control stuff.. will let you control your house from the web.. or from a telephone.. not expensive, great support and a bunch of fun to play with:
