That's illegal....a legal sports betting service doesn't have to divulge how they make their picks, but they do have to keep records of their picks. Most don't give a fuck because the Consumer Affairs doesn't really check, but if they do and you;re caught giving both sides of a game, they'll yank your license and your $10K cash reserve....

most guys play is straight as far as that....that's why the ones I worked for had a $500 fine for handicapping...if we gave a side that wasn't on the boards or an opposite side and a monitor caught it, we got fined and threatened with a license yank (not fun)...

the best I worked for was Lou Diamond...he was about 70-75% which is profitable for a steady bettor...but like anything, there were hot and cold streaks as well...

What names did the sports handicapping service you worked for run under? 99% of them are pure scams, they give out one side to one guy then the next guy they give the other side. They know that one dumbass will be very happy because he got the winner pick and will likely pay for more picks or a more expensive personal service. They just keep doing it and doing it....opening up new lines under new names.

I'm sure there are some guys who actually run a decent business where they do their homework and sell their best guess as to who is going to win and lose. I know one of those guys, went to school with him, he's full of shit because his record is barely 50% but he does run his business kinda ethically.

I think the reason I do fairly decent with football picks is because I'm not really a fan of the game, so I have no prejudices...I find that most of the serious sports bettors don't really watch the games...they just watch the numbers and move accordingly....the reason I don't bet serious money in the sports books here in Laughlin is due to the fact if I have money on it, I might start second guessing myself...
