The beauty of good watering holes such as this one is any Joe WM can come in, mix it up, throw their 2 cents in, and the big guy puts arm around the little guy and says "welcome, can I buy you a beer or a coffee". What you say is not important. That you are a WM who has walked the long woods is.

Glad to help Todd. Of all things, I had a stubborn monitor config error message everytime I booted up... "This program will be shut down ect ect" Luckily the monitor did not shut down after clicking the little error message. Could not fig it out no matter where I looked. Sure as heck, after removing all the spyware the error went away. So these things can affect you in strange ways.

A lot of software that you install download little progs and install them without letting you know.

Also check your settings/ctrl panel/add-remove listings. You will prob see a prog or two that you never installed. You may want to delete that bad boy.

Thx Mike! Back in the saddle again! Feels good to throw a little ink down again. Been real busy adjusting to the times and trying to keep the ship afloat but will try and stay in touch much more.

BTW a lttle tip for the good readers of Oprano. If anyone is getting lots of strange unexplained system errors [as I was] check out Ad Aware at http://www.lavasoftusa.com

This is a must in todays internet world. A really slick piece of software.

You could [and almost certainly do] have a ton of spyware progs leaching on your comp and messing all kind of things up plus that is where all these guys get your info from to later spam you.

You have to scan at least once every 60 days. I cleaned things up a couple months back only to scan and find about 60 .dlls and such now back and sending out spyinfo.
Deleted them all with the prog. It cleans up your registry safely and windows dir and my comp runs WAY better now.

These things will wreak havok on your configuration and may indeed be given you the strange error messages and system lock ups you cant seem to fig out.

Then you can make MO MONEY! : )

Their business model was a little confusing to me. They want to buy up a bunch of small paysites and combine them into a big one. It didn't seem real workable to me since they had little or no concept of all the different niches that exist. It seemed like they were looking for anyone who was willing to sell. Buy a bbw site, a teen site, and a tranny site, combine them and see what happens. Probably a lot of cancels. Plus they are looking for sites without original content, that seems really dumb to me.
