Colin,
and I say...making paysite affiliates programs BY INVITATION only is the way of the future.
EXAMPLE:
===========
webfather's board is by invitation/recomendation/approval
ONLY.
It has most amount of memebrs,
posts and controls combined the most of the PRODUCTIVE traffic.
Mr. Trump's Golf Club in West Palm Beach has similar characterisitcs...
;-)))
Boca Raton Golf Club with it's $45,000 entrance fees has HIGHER %%% of high earners than the averages suggest.

I'm still waiting for phone calls :)
I'm commuting to the show in Miami so I'll be around. :)
Actually now its a paramedic and a fireman that I'm dating at the same time. Jealousy isn't pretty, its petty. I pick on Meni because he likes it, he begs for it every time he posts. I'm just happy to oblige like every less.
Look I prove proof that there is nobody better than me. Have a look and give some feedback, besides jealously.

This 80/20 rule we were discussing yesterday .. it's not true.
In the US ..
The top 10% of people make 33% of the income.
And then the top 40% make 66% of the income.
So about the top 50% of people make 80% of the income.
I wrote a couple programs this morning to simulate this and got about the same thing.
The mathematician that invented fractals, Benoit Mandelbrot, has noticed that income distribution is fractal. To interpret, that means that any particular field should have about the same distribution as the whole.

I have been in a few chatrooms and heard the talk on the TGP2. I for one am very interested. My concern is just how will we get this traffic generated? budlight and I have two made so far,but the stats are not good on them. But I really believe that we all need to go with these new changes as this is where we will be tomorrow.Just have to keep rolling and try new things. If one doesn't work, then have a backup ready.I just wanted to make myself known among you great people. And that we are going to make this TGP2 work :) LadyjFat Slappin and Sweat Drippin

Heading out for Miami, read this little tidbit on the Titans game last night, this is funny in so many ways:
``We leave the rubdown of the balls to the equipment guys. They get a chance to rub the balls down a couple of days before the game. Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to go in and feel the balls ourselves this week,'' McNair said.
``However, that won't happen again. Trust me.''
Tennessee coach Jeff Fisher said he couldn't remember something like that ever happening before, and he promised he would rub the balls down himself next week, if necessary"

Hi Oprano,
Thought i'd drop you a note to let everybody know we just completed a few major projects, which means we now have production time to produce new animated flash sitcoms / webshows.
We have been flat out over the last few months and this is just to let everybody know we are accepting new projects now.
So if you wan't to get your very own branded sitcom produced in flash, or even if you wanted bulk banners / sites or even to check out some of our past work, just shoot me an e-mail or an ICQ.
I'll even offer a discount for oprano readers of 10% :)
Sorry if this is classified as spam, couldn't think of a better place to reach the masses at the moment, as we had people requesting work a while back and we couldn't help.

---------------------
The sheer number of them out there posting 100 pic galleries with one banner as fast as they can so the big tgps will list them. That is killing so much of it all.
".. it might be the shear number of webmasters that are in this that are fuck*in everything up as much as the free content. "

Rick -- you've run a real business before and you know how it works.
So many of the people in this business don't appear to understand how to do business... giving away all your product is crazy... but then again maybe they're making it up in volume???
One last comment on the sponsors cutting the deals -- porn surfers aren't going to go away just because hypothetically speaking sponsors cut out their programs and they don't have the newbies to get them traffic. That traffic will still be there and those that are around to show em a peek, collect the dollars, will still get that traffic.
And oh so much more of it would be paying traffic...
Fantastic discussion today, lots of good points made all the way around -- I'm off to the airport, will be in Miami in the morning :)

Mutt,
good points! but what I was thinking, but not getting out well, was that the music industry could have embraced the technology and possibilities of the internet, as thier market has. They made themselves look like the dinosaurs. Sure they do have a lot of money and power, but are they in touch with their market? Have they started a strategy that will have a backlash? I guess we will see in the future.
As for porn on p2p, well that is more like usenet than anything else I guess, allowing _anyone_ to find anything they want, regardless of age. The pics and movies of paysites are rendered worthless by the ability to download for free. What can/will be done? I don't know. I read the govt. report on p2p porn and though they seem to know _about_ it, i don't know what they can _do_.
