Porn on computer disc 'led to wife's slaying'

A businessman allegedly stole a computer disc from his former wife. And what its contents revealed when he viewed it on his computer was enough to make him get into his car, drive hundreds of kilometres and kill her. This is what the State will argue when the businessman goes on trial for slaying his former spouse.

On August 26, 2002, the man is alleged to have downloaded the photographs from the disc and saw explicit pictures of his former spouse having sex with another man.

The State believes that after seeing the images, the man, who was in Botswana, got into his car and drove to his ex-wife's house in Bryanston. When he arrived there he allegedly stabbed her several times and then slit her throat
