Though Atanta game is still on, and Falcons on the goal line... Falcons go to playoffs anyway - since the aints could not beat carolina at home.
how pathetic - I am glad I am in California - though I would not have gone to the game anway. 2nd collapse in 2 years for the aints... coaches need to go.    I will be pulling for Katie'e team - Raiders!! :grrr: |

Mike Cleveland played a good game - especially with out the starting QB.
They overcame a lot of turnovers as well. I think Superbowl is going to be Packers vs Raiders. Though Titans might sneak in - they have been playing good ball! |

If the Falcons continue to play this badly we will be out after next week anyway
![]() Fold, I am sorry that I have to pull for Favre this week in hopes that he gets a first round bye....if not, we have to play them next week in Lambeau and off the top of my head I can think of about 1 bajillion things I would rather do next week than face the Packers at Lambeau. --T |

Mike,
You know I love ya...but your dream ends next Sunday in Steel Town Will you be in Vegas in time to see the game ? Not that I have any illusions about them winning everything, but they will beat the Browns minus Tim Couch

OldJeff - Pitt has beaten Cleveland twice this year both times by 3 points and should be favored to win the game but
Holcomb has a better QB rating than Couch and Cleveland is once again the cardiac kids, not to mention William Green is peaking at the right time An upset wouldn't be a big shock My Superbowl Picks ...... Philly VS. Oakland |

there was an article in the Cleveland paper comparing the 80 Brian Sipe version of the kardiac kids and this years version.
oddly, this year had more "last minute" heroics than that year, BUT they were all on the road, and thus, the fans didn't glamorize this team as they did in 80. The factor you mention vick (william green) is the difference. as well as the Northcutt Factor I give the Browns a good shot at an upset, even travelling to Shitsburgh Old Jeff.... ![]() Note* Watch out for the Titans Last edited by MikeFold at Dec 30 2002, 01:30 PM |

The Steelers are playing damn good football right now but so are the Browns. Should be a great game but the Steelers will win because to lose at home to the team from that shithole to the north would be punishable by death. :P
I'll be in Vegas next Sunday so I'll drag my ass somewhere for the game. MikeFold, care to join me? I promise not to bring any weapons other than my terrible towel. You can even throw beer bottles at me if you lose as long as they are the plastic ones. I know you guys are sore losers but you should be used to it by now. Thanks Vick!!! It figures I win the one contest that doesn't have any prizes for winning.
Baltimore should have won that game but they killed themselves with penalties and bad decisions by Blake. Pitt, CLE, and BLT could be 3 of the top teams in the conference next year. BLT needs a QB, CLE doesn't need much, and the Steelers need to stay healthy. I doubt the Steelers will go 6-0 in the division next year except for our 2 gaurenteed wins against the Bungles.

hehe, I was out of town for a couple of days and my internet connection took a dump on me. (satellite internet sucks) The best part is that after the game I'm going golfing. What could be better, beer, football, and golf all on the same day.

OK....so I guess we have to go to Lambeau field now, huh???
![]() Wouldn't it be something if the Falcons were the first person to ever win a playoff game at Lambeau??? Of course, then we would lose to Tampa Bay in the 70 degree weather and it would become one of those long lost things for the trivia books ![]() --T |

Here's my recipe for a trip to the Super Bowl for the Packers. A win over the Falcons at Lambeau followed by a trip down to Tampa where we beat Tampa with a bit of inspired play as everybody and their mother will be jacked for that game. Meanwhile the Giants beat the 49ers and then beat Philly in Philly!!
We then head BACK to Lambeau for the NFC championship where we once again use home field to launch us into the Super Bowl where we meet the Jets and avenge our loss from yesterday!!!

I don't see the giants having many problems with San francisco in the first round. It's Philly that is the big problem. Though IMHO the Giants pretty much dominated Philly on saturday and the game should NEVER even been that close to begin with.
If they play the same type of football and eliminate the turnovers they can win in Philly. here's to hoping!

![]() If the Falcons come in and play as hard as they have in a few previous games (which hasn't happened lately, I agree) and the Packers have an "off day" then it just might happen. ...and to top all of it off the one thing that is in our favor is that the Packers are saying the same thing to themselves that you are saying "Ain't gonna happen. Falcons aren't that good." --T |
