Im not ashamed of what I do. The interviews I do with the press inside and outside of this industry have always used my real name with the handle in quotations. Youve sat on a panel with me where I introduced myself with my real name.

I got nothing to hide nor do I have any shame.

I continue to do mainstream work when the chance arises. I am hired BECAUSE of my experience from this industry.
My parents know what I do. My family knows what I do.

There's a huge difference between voluntarily telling someone your name or posting your real name and having someone else do it for you. There are a few people in this business that know my real name and Gonzo is one of them. I sure as hell hope they continue to respect my wish to keep that information private.

My real name is public record and easy to find with an Internet look-up of any of my companies. I used to use my real name in the industry, but no one ever remembered who I was! I changed it, on-line and at shows, to Danny Cox to match Carol Cox, and then people knew exactly who I was.

As for privacy, well, that went out the window for us a long time ago. Everyone in our part of town knows who we are, where we live, and who our children are. Luckily we live in a very open and progressive city, so it's really no big deal to any one. I know it would be different if we lived in a Bible Belt area, but luckily, we don't have to deal with that.

Personally, I hate dealing with "nicks" in business. They are fine for a message forum such as this, but when I get involved with someone, I like to deal with the person and not the persona.

She has taught me so much about life and I am the AMAZING woman I am today because of my mothers guidance. If it wasnt for her INTELLIGENCE and HARD WORK regardless of what business it is in... My family would not have the amazing gifts we have today.
