I always wondered who was the worst of the worst, any old timers...errr I mean seasoned veterans able to shed a little light on this and provide a history lesson for us not in the know?

I watched, and have observed who is whom, and wanted to pay attention to that, as i realized early GFY was just a means to an end, and that to truley make anything in this game, I needed to know who the REAL players were....
I studied enough to see a pattern everytime weasles name was brought up, ( I learned if there is smoke there is most likely fire)
so I have avoided him...

To sum it up, he made a few hundred thousand and it went to his head. For some reason he feels he's on the same level as the guys who made tens of millions and has been putting a lot of effort into trying to convince everyone he is on that level.
Truth of the matter is he's on the lower medium end and there are thousands just like him and a thousand much bigger than him.
Voodooman once told me that he was at a convention and wanted to introduce himself to Brad because he was using his proggy so he walked up to him, stuck out his hand and said "Hey I'm Kurt/Voodooman, nice to meet you".
Brad ignored the hand and responded with "SO!? HAHAHAHHAAHAHAHA".
Then Voodooman saw Marc DeForest and introduced himself to him, Marc was very friendly and had a nice chat with him.
Interesting contrast huh?
I'd say Brad is the industry's most arrogant hundredthousandaire, and misplaced arrogance is one of the most unpleasant characteristics in a person I can think of.
His misplaced arrogance is why nobody can stand him.
Of course Brad is not the worst of the worst, that title is reserved for the people who have ripped off lot's of webmasters. I do not recall hearing about Brad stealing money.
grimm, I honestly have a lot of respect for you defending your friend here while it is so unpopular to do so, I could use a lot of friends like you.
My opinion though, no need to feel sorry for Brad when people talk shit about him on the boards. He has talked shit about just everyone else on the boards and obviously hasn't changed his ways since he is discrediting Jackie Barnard (my former business partner who I know to be a good person and responsible mother) unprovoked (afaik) without any regard for her feelings or damage he might be doing to her webmaster programs. He has made his own bed and others are doing to him what he has done to others.

The only thing he ever shut up about was when we did the statistician where we were counting hits to programs and this little gem became very evident very quickly

Its easy to see how weasel got his money He can count dollars he just cant count hits.
Out of all the programs we tested, SIC CASH had the worst stats count of them all by a long mile.
The Other thing i find funny is how much weasel relies on Alexa to prove how good his board is, and the really funny thing is that allthough we have been around about 6 years longer, have many more posters, members, business related threads and more hits at Netpond, his board always has a better alexa ranking than netpond. the only time his alexa ranking dropped was when he was traveling to france LOL. guess he couldnt carry all the puters with the alexa toolbars ont hem as hand lugage.
If weasel stopped talking about himself he would lose 90 percent of the new threads over there.

Brad is always taking cheap potshots at myself or netpond and i ignore them mostly.
Alot of people like him and thats fine, i dont need hundreds of people a day feeding my ego.
I dont like him, i dont like anythign about him, i dont see any redeeming qualities in his charachter the only good thing he has going for him is Pornoman who is a nice guy and who I like and who has always been straight with me.
Other than that I dont care if his board makes more money than netpond or has more advertisers than netpond or even a higher alexa ranking, I dont care if he has more money than me or a bigger paysite than me, its all wank lol.

With Alexa , I have noticed the exact same thing.
Plus he has no posters certainly in comparison to Netpond. I mean he has one kid there tht has posted 4700 posts in a matter of 2/3 mths and is his 11th highest poster.

But one of the things I've always tried to do as a company rep is never to bring the company into disrepute, by mindless bashing on the boards (Jive was the exception where I always felt free to vent my frustration :P ).
