I always wonder when I get these things: do people actually find this stuff remotely believable? This goes back to, hey I have a bridge to sell these people too.

They must or they wouldn't keep doing it. Even with all the media coverage I get them weekly.

They need to change the country.

their own arrogance is scammers best friend

many people are not aware that the same guy actually sold the Eiffel Tower TWICE as scrap metal. he was later arrested in the US.

i was reading a FBI report on computer crimes and they claimed that the positive response rate for the Nigerian scam via e-mail is very high.

I saw an FTC report on internet fraud and the Nigerian scam was #1 on the list as far as dollar amounts were concerned.

I remember a number of 1%, but i dont remember how they worded it in terms of responses/and actual money sent.

anyway, keeping that in mind, i figure that statistically i will have to reply to one of the next 5 e-mails of this kind that i get.
