I'm starting to really like it. But like Carnivale, I want to put everyone in a nice big lake and clean them up a bit!

I really like it. I grew up on Westerns.
Looking forward to another season of Carnivale, too. I may just quit watching the Sopranos, though ... it's starting to bore the hell out of me.

I am trying to get into it, but it just isn't clicking like the Sopranos or Oz.

Like it a lot, could use a few less "cocksuckers" Was disappointed that Wild Bill got it so early but he was not in town long.
One of the historical mess ups in the show is the friendship of Seth and Bill, Seth got to town 2 days before Bill got shot. Would really like to see a spin off about Wild Bill with Carradine I love the way he portrayed Wild Bill Last edited by OldJeff at Apr 19 2004, 05:43 AM |

Love the show... last night's episode was probably the weakest so far though.

Got to watch the 2nd showing of Sopranos... what a waste of my time. It is shameful what they have done to the show. It has become a physcho-drama....

What a coincidence - I love Deadwood too
And the coincidence is........is that I stumbled upon "Wild Bill" on Showtime last night. Jeff Bridges played Will Bill - Carradine played Buffalo Bill - and Christ - he looked just like he did in Deadwood..........and the town they were is was called Deadwood........go figur - huh? See: "Jeff Bridges stars as legendary Western hero Wild Bill Hickok in this revisionist frontier bio that exposes the real gunslinger, who suffered from glaucoma, opium addiction and loneliness alleviated only by his lifelong friendship with Calamity Jane (Ellen Barkin). Writer/director Walter Hill's riveting account costars John Hurt, Diane Lane, Keith Carradine, Christina Applegate, Bruce Dern, James Gammon, David Arquette, Marjoe Gortner and James Remar. Based on Pete Dexter's novel "Deadwood" and Thomas Babe's play "Fathers and Sons." on again at: http://www.sho.com/site/schedules/product_...episodeid=94834 Cool Movie. I'm really hooked on westerns - especially from reading Louie Lamour's novels in the 80's. And now I watch Gunsmoke religiously at 6-8 p.m. on Starz - 7 days a week and/or at 6:00 a.m. EST...Fuck News Check out James Arrness website: http://www.jamesarness.com The "cocksucker" is alive and licking at 81.................. |
