I am driving down just so I can spend some extra time with my family and have our car.....I will probably stay somewhere else too, just cause I am el-cheapo these days and $150-200 a room is a bit much for 4 nights

Is there a way to bring attention to Atlanta webmasters, models and adult companies in general on this? There has got to be a few hundred people working in adult in the area I would think but at least a few dozen of whom go to shows or are open to the concept?

There are a lot of us in the business here but I dont know that there are many that are show aware. I dont know why you guys dont consider Atlanta as a host city. Every AWE or Webmaster access that was held here was very well attended.

I dont think there are that many to tell you the truth, shows here have done poorly. This is not a mecca for online adult unfortunately. We are going to drive because after the show we are going to miami to shoot.

just FYI, the only shows I have been to in the last 5 years that had more than 200 people are internext and AVN

shows are small these days man, and 200 people is usually a HUGE turnout, 100-150 is a decent size

Not sure what shows you're comparing the Atlanta AWE events to, but outside of Internext and Phoenix, it had as many people as most any of the other shows and more than most.

As for how many in adult industry in Atlanta, I too know of 6 off the top of my head who never post on the boards, and I doubt mine overlap with Jaces at all. But who really cares how many are in Atlanta, the thing is Atlanta draws from the entire southeast. It's a good centralized drive or cheap flight from the region.

The real problem with Atlanta is it's just not adult friendly. We're in the bible belt, getting a hotel who will tolerate "our kind" is a challenge. This is also why there is a stealthiness to a lot of people who work in adult in Atlanta. I personally have dropped good sponsors for sending material to our company mailing address that is obviously adult industry in nature based on the company name, etc.

last few shows I have been to I have been in my room a total of 3-4 hours every 24 hours

yeah, there are a few I know for sure that have no interest in advertising what they do, and they are full time, but I don't post their info publicly
