So, if an old friend I know
Drops by to say hello
Would I still see suspicion in your eyes?

Here we go again
Asking where I’ve been
You can’t see these tears are real
I’m crying

We can’t go on together
With suspicious minds
And be can’t build our dreams
On suspicious minds

When honey, you know
I’ve never lied to you
Mmm yeah, yeah

We’re caught in a trap
I can’t walk out

Why can’t you see
What you’re doing to me
When you don’t believe a word I say?

Everest? I have never been to Everest. I have however seen it from a place called the Restaurant at the End of the Universe about a half an hour outside of Khatmandu. Everest was mentioned as a figurative by Serge and I responded. I have never told great tales of travel but brought them up in conversations about same. But I do like to travel. Ask me what you like about a lot of places and I will tell you what I know. As for the biz, I actually have no idea what most of you do or your history. I never ask because no one talks about it. I have told you I run websites successfully. What is it you do?

Oh, btw, I do have a very good knowledge of the history of the business. Just not necessarily your end of it because it seems we don't work the same markets or do the same business or I am sure I would have heard of you.

When you learn how to read English and develop a sense of basic wit, you may post in response or in your own defense. Until then, my amusing little fellow, you may either a: continue to embarrass yourself in public or b: go back to your basement, regroup and continue working on your imaginary roadmap. If my forgiveness is all you need, then shameless begging will work. Now hop to it.

Thats right - you were intellectually outclassed by a dead sheep

But I refuse to enter into a another battle of wits with you - its against my moral code to attack an unarmed person

I love it when I win. Especially when you refer to yourself as a dead sheep. Say good night, Rollo and I am glad you are folding your tent on this thread. I shall watch in amusement as you continue to butcher the language in the most amusing way.

Partially, but far from a tempest. In fact it would barely rate a tea cup. I stand behind my dunkin donut remark. In this case, I just react. Do you think it is satisfying to dunk a donut in my tea before I have even had breakfast? I have no idea who Rollo is, what he does, what his background is but I do know his blade needs a little sharpening. So is he French or what?

same can be said about you....none of us really know what you do in the industry...if anything.

as for the blade sharpness,
one thing I learned:
take your sword ONLY when your goals/benefits can be achieved by the sword, whatever those goals are.

I don't see your goals for even having a sword

Then you are not looking deep enough, grasshopper. As in foreigners and language, the blade is a euphamism. As for reputation, many know me and what I do. I only have a fleeting knowledge of what you guys here do. I find it interesting, but does not influence my business in any way. We move in different circles. You have your little slice of the pie, and people like me have ours.

I don't see you practicing what you preach.....kinda hypocritical to me.

As for your business and your circles,
the key difference is:
you have interest in ours and we have no interest in yours besides the usual curiosity.

I don't see anybody here chasing you all over the internet

you are berated for travels because:
you use your travels here as a status symbol
(kinda like a weasel) and not as an educational value you are sharing with others.

Folks here smell hypocracy and insencirety and show off a mile away.

Every time I travel,
I bring something to share with others, make their lives more interesting and horizons expanded...

see the difference and the reason why I am never berated for mine?

...and I even have the link in my sig

That is a perception. What folks think is what folks think. It is not a status symbol, it is my life. I understand you post a few pictures and that is a good thing. I have seen them and they are nice. Status is in the eye of the beholder. You use your money and position as a status symbol. Your over the top bets, your diatribes on how much money has been made or lost. Your rags to riches history. I don't really care if that is how you care to make your mark in the world. I just look at it as your little bit of chest beating. Not a bad thing. Everyone has to have a modicum of an ego. It causes us to strive to achieve. You know the Gecko theory.

"you use your travels here as a status symbol"
You need to look beyond your perception and wonder why it is you think this. Hell this is only an internet bitch board.

Perception is REALITY and YOU have to ask yourself WHY people percieve you as they percieve you.

MY over the top bets???? What are you talking about??????
I don't gamble, despite always living in the states with legalized gamblings,
I don't buy penny stocks on the hunch or otherwise.

I hope you don't consider bank CD's with FDIC insurance or AAA rated ETF's as "bets over the top"
;-))))

once again you posted something with no substance and only purpose to antagonise. You succeeded, once again

well,
let's dig deeper into this statement.

I am here because I enjoy conversations with collegues,
have lots of spare time on my hands and I practically live here.

what draws YOU to this bitch board?
you were banned, thrown out, and still you go thru extra effort to be back, and engage in conversations.

tell me, what is this bitch board to YOU?

No, I am talking about the "bets" you offer on this board. I am not going to search high and low, but I have seen them. I am sure you could find them. Nothing to do with trying to antagonize. If it does, you should look within. Nothing to do with me.

gilgy, If you aren't an escaped GFY moron, you are doing a first-rate impression of one

You are making the collective mind at GFY unstable by being here, you will soon have to return to your mothership, or watch the whole of your moron GFY race fall

Now, is there anything else you want to know, before returning to your planet?

gilgy, If you aren't an escaped GFY moron, you are doing a first-rate impression of one

You are making the collective mind at GFY unstable by being here, you will soon have to return to your mothership, or watch the whole of your moron GFY race fall

Now, is there anything else you want to know, before returning to your planet?

Rollo, you know you can yell, scream, hold your breath until you turn blue. But you still make no sense. Is this one of those "I think therefore I am" conversations? I think you spend far too much time at GFY and are obviously too familiar and it has clouded your judgement. But you are an amusing little frenchman. Notice I refrained from any reference to the creature that croaks.
