Wow... I can't believe this will be my last post on this board. *sigh* This board has been so much to so many over the years. I got my start in the community here... got help with my first newbie sites... got involved in webmaster resources, support - and made more friends & business associates than I could ever count.

It's truly the end of an era...

Sad to see it go - but I understand that all things must change... I don't need to wish Netpond luck with its new board because it's already a success. Glad you'll be keeping archives around - this was definitely my home away from home for a long time...

Glad I got to come by and make my final post. *raises glass* To Netpond, the awesome team running things here today & to Bubbles... wherever he may be.

I'll never forget the memories, and good times. Netpond was my classic arch-rival back in the day, and it taught me a lot about social and business politics. I can easily laugh at all the bullshit, and say that I'll always respect Netpond and it's loyal community.

I haven't been around to experience the Netpond evolution throughout the last few years, but I wanted to make sure I posted since the "flat board" was a part of my history in this business. Rest in peace Netpond Board, you were an integral part of this industry, and will never be forgotten!

Re: the $10k in the goldfish bowl... do you think he coulda? Naw... well, now that I know all I know that I didn't know back then - it IS possible. Hmmmmmmm... I didn't realize that was even a controversy (sometimes you can be too close to a situation to see things clearly) - I was just pissed that some unknown newb won instead of one of our regular board posters. I mean all that $$$ and no public board posting of a thank-you, a screw-you or anything else.
