I'll say it for the last time. I am only aware of Carrie asking me something once in which I said, "not my area, not comfortable discussing it". Which I think is the most prudent route to take. The reason I can have so much fun here is so many people are so willing to talk about things that they know absolutely nothing about, and that will always be their downfall. Why discuss religion if you know nothing about religion? Why discuss politics if you are a semi-literate jackass? Because I am unwilling to discuss something that I do not feel qualified to, that is considered a fault?
If I spoke up about things during lecture which I knew nothing about, either a student or the professor would rip me a new asshole. I have spent the last 8 years of school learning how not to get ripped a new ass. Ask me about Nascar, jazz, or baseball... I wont say shit. Why? Because I know almost nothing about those subjects and for me to attempt discussing them would only result in someone proving that I do not.
I seriously do not understand the problem with discretion.
I am not saying I did not tell Carrie I did not feel comfortable with her chosen topic, I am saying I did not do it "time and time again". Once? Yes. Several times? I am calling bullshit. But who knows, there have been many a day where I have had several people at once firing questions at me. People tend to like to gang up on me around here. Not that I mind, I rather enjoy it, but it does not afford me the opportunity to give people the negative personal attention that they deserve and may have resulted in missed questions or what not. If I addressed everything everyone said to me, I would be hard pressed to even step away from this machine. And as we all know, Peaches views explanations as weakness. So its a catch 22, explain myself and be called a fool for being rational, dont respond and have someone like Carrie take offense.
I refuse to discuss things that I am not qualified to. And there is no way you are going to convince me that is a flaw.
