Peaches, I was not alone for the holidays. I was with family. I hope you were, too, if that is your desire.

The C&D letter you are discussing was not sent on my behalf. My relatives, one of whom has since died) were the victims. According to California Civil Code 1798.85,

A person or entity, not including a state or local agency, shall not do any of the following:

(1) Publicly post or publicly display in any manner an individual's social security number.

"Publicly post" or "publicly display" means to generally communicate or otherwise make available to the general public.

California law further makes you liable for all actual damages, a civil fine, and for any attorney fees incurred.

Confucy, you were HERE on Oprano all day Christmas making posts! From noon until after 7 when you said you were leaving to load software on your computer. :P This was after you tried to say you were in TX, remember? See, it's repetitive situations like THAT which make me realize you're a liar (that and stating things about me and others that I know 100% aren't true). I don't need Darci or Kevin to try to convince me how much you lie - it's all right here in black and white.

So, when are your relatives in CA going to sue Serge in FL and Michael in LA for a California civil code infraction?

Peaches, start packing all those shoes and those oversized shirts and pants to accomodate your weight gain. Serge likes your fat ass. I'm sure there will be some big-ass lovers in Las Vegas.

Give me a call. I gave you my cell number. If you discover you like me in person, don't tell anybody. I would hate to lose confucy fans because I am loved by everyone.

Peaches, you were here on Christmas. Many were. I was demonstrating to my relatives how to use their new laptop. Just relax, dear Peaches. I was in Texas. Do I ever quiz you as to where you are and where you are going? You talk shit every day about your activities. Do I question you non-stop? Christ, if you are that converned about my whereabouts, hire an investigator like Mitnick or come visit me. Indiana is wonderful this time of the year.

PEACHES, YOU ARE ACTING LIKE A DUMB BROAD!

IT IS NOT ACCEPTED POSING SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS NO MATTER WHERE YOU LIVE.

YOU KNOW THAT! You would be shitting gigantic turds if someone posted your SS#. Settle down. Go pack. Save your hatred for all those Las Vegas people who will be kicking your ass, overcharging you, and pinching that fat ass of yours.

You need to pay better attention to my posts - I don't have many shoes at all. :P And it's not oversized shirts I'm wearing to accommodate my weight gain, it's oversized PANTS! But see, I can lose weight - you will forever be a bitter obsessed mental case.

I can assure you that IF you had ever given me your phone number, it would have been tossed immediately, lol! And I can also 100% guarantee you that I wouldn't think any differently of you in person. From my experience, most people are exactly the same in person as they are in cyberspace.

Really? I guess I AM dumb!

Show me the law that states that it's illegal in GA for me to post your SS#.

And then you can show me where the owner of a public message board is liable if the SS# is posted, even in CA.

And even BETTER, show me which penalities are accessed if I live in CA and I post your SS# on the internet.

Enlighten me, Confucy!

I have a friend like you, Peaches. She thinks she knows everything. She never backs down. She is stubborn and bitter. She gets a feather in her ass about somebody or something, and there is no where to go but down.

I have told you in the past, I forgive you, Peaches.

I hurt your feelings a long time ago, and you have never forgotten it.

I'll try to find you in LV. Drinks are on me. Just for the hell of it, I will let you get to like me before I tell you who I am. You will be surprised.

See ya!

Peaches, what do you think Vick would do if you posted his SS# on Oprano?

Would he cover you with kisses? Some things are just common sense and common decency. We defend our friends more easily than we defend ourselves. Some posting is just not kosher. Posting very personal info is unfair, unjust, and down right rude. There are Federal Laws protecting all of us.

Get off your lazy ass and research it.

Yeah, so you've already told me on another post. Keep trying to convince everyone you have a friend. :P And if it's a real person, why would you even want to BE friends with someone who is stubborn and bitter? Seems you're pretty desperate for friends.

You've never ONCE hurt my feelings, hehehe. But feel free to keep thinking so in your sick mind. It's fun to watch what you come up with. I can't WAIT to hear all about your "trip" to LV, lol! Be sure to hide in your apartment the whole week so Darci and Kevin's PI doesn't catch you there like s/he did when you were in "Texas". :P

What you don't seem to get, Confucy is that I would never post anything Vick because I like and respect him. You have done nothing but spew hate and lies since you started posting on adult message boards and then somehow you're offended when you have no friends who will protect you and no one cares if all your personal information is posted. :P

I don't need to, YOU'RE the one saying I'm wrong. I've seen people post your information here for years and I've yet to see ANYONE get in ANY kind of trouble for it even when you contacted your attorney. That's all the "research" I need.

Ha Ha, I don't have an apt.

You are making yourself more ridiculous with each post.

How many times do you have to be told that I'm not
seeking friends on boards. You are, Miss Lonely Hearts.
Good luck in Las Vegas. There are many old men looking
for one-night lays. And remember, you can always look
up Gonzo for a fuck or suck.

Oh Jesus! What a picture that is!

Riiiight - which is why you were here all day long posting on Christmas and why you try to be nice every so often and offer to buy drinks in Vegas.

In fact, I plan on getting him drunk (a real effort on my part, I'm sure....) and marrying him just so I can have a bizarre hyphenated last name.

Edited to add - at least you're getting back to the subject - Gonzo - since you've spent all this time on me.

Dianna, Carrie - I "fast read" your posts, and most of the other posts in this thread (this thread is trivial)... just making observation based on person, subject, and content of the first post, and what followed.

While its tempting to discuss with Confucy on the board, then please keep in mind that she is mentally ill, and that only doctors with medicin have a chance to help her get on with her life.

Confucy please don't bring me into this. I never actually started work at Oprano and therefore can make absolutely no claims on it's success. Gonzo looks to be doing a superlative job to my eyes - he is pro-active and a solid participant of all that goes on here.

Nick I think Hubby might be infringing on your patent from time to time

Confucy, Dr. Laura's mother didn't *want* to be contacted. Had Laura attempted to call her, she would've just hung up or unplugged the phone. There are some people in your life that simply don't want you to be in it and make every effort to ensure that you're not. Dr. Laura's mom was one of those people and it sounds like Peaches' mom is the same way.
Some women are just so shallow that when they find a new man who doesn't like the children, the mother stops wanting the children around. In order to please the new man, she'll send them away or just make them go away. It's sad, cruel, and pathetic, but it happens all the time for lots of reasons (not just a new man).

Hi Robin,

I wouldn't expect anything from you other than what you said.

That is why you have friends on the boards. You are a gentleman.

How is life treating you? Are you still in England? Looking forward to hearing about your new projects.

And by the way, Robin...Gonzo is an asshole! Anyone can be hired to post and throw shit and lies at webmasters. You wouldn't have done that. Gonzo does. That is the comparison I was making.

Carrie, that is the story Dr. Laura wanted everyone to believe. She can be very convincing. I have a friend who lived near Dr. Laura's mother. Dr. Laura was ALWAYS too busy to spend time with her mother. The *mother* was not the most pleasant person in the world, but look at her bitch daughter. Dr. Laura stopped being a daughter a long time ago. She didn't listen to her mother, and the mother was hurt. There were two from the same pod. However, the mother was old and sick. Dr. Laura could have at least had someone check on her mother daily. She didn't. She wrote off mommy dearest, just like Peaches has done with her mother.

Not all of us are lucky enough to have ideal mothers and fathers. But you don't ignore them when they are ill.

Yes I did thank you very much
I'll post a copy of it in another thread (with info blacked out) soon

and it was sad yesterday, our Season ended. A much better season that I could have every hoped for and for just one minute, after Heap came down with the jump ball touchdown and McAllister intercepted on the next series I thought maybe, just maybe a little magic was there

Didn't turn out that way though - still a great year for the Ravens

Moderators who get power hungry are pathetic people to watch. Moderators who handle their boards with care and take their crap off the boards and deal with webmasters privately are a rare breed. Robin is a webmaster who would fit into this category. I think I will contact him today and say hi.
I think I will be the first type of moderator you mention

And on that note, I would like to say hello to all board members here. My name is Pat and I will be a Moderator here at Oprano starting in a few days. I am thankful for this opportunity and would like Britney Spears for keeping me interested in the internet. I am ready Mike & Serge.

I am all set to do my part to take Oprano to the next level: Icon status.

Why do we need moderators? Did we decrease in maturity with the influx of GFYers or something? I thought we were doing pretty well at self-moderating...?

Not to bash ya Masterp, just confuzzled. (As usual.) Congrats on your new position.

I do have counsels opinion somewhere on file (Got it after the starnet problem) that in Canada at least hosting a poker game is not illegal. As you are not an odds maker.

I never read the later posts on those threads ,probably got caught up in the Xmass thing.

But apols to masterp74 , it is not the stupidiest idea I have ever read.

Hmmmm....I know some of the old Starnet people well , prior to WorldGaming. I'll run it past them when I get a chance.

Its not the stupidest idea I ever heard after all :-)))

yeah, i settled down this last week and go my self focused at the task at hand. I had to hype things up to get me noticed and it did. I will not let you guys down,. Nick and vick, i'm sorry if we got off on the wrong foot. I'm a team player and I will I admit I was like a kid who just got laid for his first time. I've settled down and you will see that I'm not another punk-kid. it took a lot for me to write that first post to Serge. It means a lot to me if someone I respect(only a handful in the whole world I respect) ,responds back and is interested in some of the ideas. I take nothing for granted. There's an old saying "Don't shit where you eat" and you will see that I won't.

and Gonzo, you crack me up every time you post. I love your wit and i think they will make a movie about your life one day. you're a great moderator and was one of the reasons I came back to this board when i was new.

I worked for a starnet licensee in Antigua for 2 years and we had to deal with them daily down there. I can't believe how many CEO's they have had since the golden years.

I know a lot of shit about online gambling industry. In Canada, all the online poker rooms are licensed there. I lived in Montreal for the summer and found the goverment is very supported in online gaming industry.

The poker thing is a marketer's wet dream. You will see some cool and entertaining things soon.

Alot of people it seems were liscencees of Starnet in Antigua ,alledgedly ;-))

I know a lot of the early people.

They were smart. I like them.

I thought it was interesting that people in NY were shorting their stock ,alledgedly, before the offices were raided.

I know the history. It was a very cool time back then. And yes their we're alot of licenseethat didn't do crap. I worked for one that did. I think only 5 or 6 made it and still are making big $$$.

I worked for http://www.mysportsbook.com

That was after I sold my half of http://www.startcasino.com to my former business partner. funny how I met my biz partner while posting on ragingbull.com about starnet. that was a happening time back then and lots of networking. By the way, my former business partner Marc is one smart person. He still makes good money on the simple site and now has 2 casino affiliate conventions a year. He has a online dating convention for webmasters 2 times a year. Rock on Marc! all this happened because people got together and thur out ideas

Oh, the drama!

GonZo's damned plane barely leaves the ground and you wanna take advantage...

Diana V -- You obviously have some sort of axe to grind with him. You wanna talk shit about him being nobody or whatever, but he's here at the show networking and doing business....where the fuck are you? 'nuf said.

Confucy -- You accuse him of being on a power trip, that's a laugh too. Virtually anyone else would've locked your ass long ago for personal attacks. Oh, and dont even think about denying what you do is personal attacks after those comments to peaches in this thread about big shirts.

You both might wanna take a look in the mirror and ask yourself why people are coming to his defense while both of you are out there by your lonesome trying to stir shit about it. If you meet the man, I think you'll find what you see is exactly what you get for both good and bad.
