I don't see what all the fuss is about...

It's an excellent marketing idea - it's definitely eye-catching and I think Oprano did this "tastefully." Hey, we've all seen a lot more in-your-face advertising in the past - and certain resources that look like the Las Vegas strip with all their flashing & popping. This is a nice "change of scenery" to the site for a couple of weeks and I'm sure it will be mutually beneficial to all involved.

Kudos guys - good on ya! It's innovative thinking like this that make this biz such a cool place to be!

that is ridiculous, i was away all day yesterday but cherrylula kept me filled in.

i highly doubt ill be posting there much anymore, its completely too much to have to follow and adapt to. what a headache of design.

I personally think the ADS presence is tacky. I don't know the people at ADS. I haven't used their service and I haven't been to their website.

When you goto a board and the look and feel has changed to promote a company or service... I think it projects "try hard" even though it's just another form of advertising... it just seems to much. It almost seems like the company feels it lacks so much that the only way to get people to take notice is to be in their face. There are more effective, less dominant, ways of advertising that get the job done just as well.

But hey... opinions are like assholes.. everyone has one.
