Great thread, really helps put somet things into perspective for someone like myself who is a programmer trying to help out the people who run websites and programs.
From what I have seen over the last couple of months, with the downturn on the industry, people have been forced to break the molds of the conventional paysite. Coming out with new ideas, bringing what looks like more honesty to the paysites to reduce charge backs and generate more revenue.
As it has been in the past, webmasters are turning to people like me to create scripts and applications that reduce time and overhead that it takes to manage their sites. This in turn allows them to either reduce the number of employees working for them, or allows them to concentrate on other money making ideas while their sites practically run themselves.
I submit galleries as well on the side to try and generate income, I have seen it become harder for the non-cheating submitter to get listed. Now it will cost more and more money just to get listed at TGP's with high traffic volume. I think you will see a mixture of people dropping out of the market because of the other associated costs for running websites.
I definitely applaud those of you who still make the bank roll as I know it is tough. I am lucky that I am a programmer and that I make a living doing that instead of just running websites and such otherwise I might have to work full time again

... we had one here for a day and it couldn't do shit compared to the rest of the vehicles in the club ... lots of balls, but they kept getting in the way of its feet
