That was Janette, sad time when that happened. Supernice person with kids. Not that anyone really DESERVES to die in a car crash, but she'd have been extremely low on the list.

Voo, you should remember her from the NatNet suite, she was on the couch, we were sitting on the floor, one of those big group chats. I think that was when that overtanned drunk local Vegas chick was in there and kept trying to use the room phone.

Whoops, looks like Peaches beat me to the punch on Janette. I think Peaches was part of the group in the NatNet suite that night, if I remember correctly.

Since we're sharing memories, how about the illustrious XPICS? I remember setting up little Adultcheck sites with USENET pics and "click on this banner and enter the 4th word from the 3rd paragraph below to advance to the next content page" and thinking I was a genius. Made grrrrrrrrrreat money until they cut me off.

Then it was off to pull the same game on Cyberthrill (while they still paid), but I went legit soon after.

There we go, all my dirty laundry in one post!

Cyberthrill!! that was the one!! LOL

Xpics contacted me to take me exclusive.

I posted whether I should take there offer.

In a heartbeat Dean had offered me 40k a mth , FM 15 cents raw , and Scottpb was frothing LOL

Remember in 97/98 , USD 40,000 a mth was a lot of money...

In late 1995 (maybe early '96), XPICS started one of the first shared pay-out programs. They started with $1000. the first month, and split it up based on percentage of traffic you sent. The next month, they raised that to $5000.00. Carol's site was free at that time, and these guys were sending her checks for a couple of grand every month. Not bad for the little play site it was at the time.

Drav, that second choice of pictures was a little better.

And don't think I was slighted, I was just busting your balls. But thanks for taking that down. What a god awful picture. heh...

I remember the first month I was ever going to make a profit. $300 bucks to be exact... and the sponsor stiffed me. Bastards.

I also remember the hospitality suite in Montreal '99. First show I ever went to. It was about 5:30 am, and everyone had left except for Sweet T, RB, Grimm, etc... I was in the kitchen trying to get things organized when Tony called me into the living room. He nods pointing at one guy who hasn't left yet, and he is so drunk that he is literally trying to find his mouth with the bottle of beer... Tony gives me the "get rid of this guy" look, and I walk over and tell him he has a phone call. He follows me to the door of the suite and I shove him out into the hallway.

Ah yes, creative bouncing. haha

Thought this would be a good thread to post this... many "oldtimers" will remember one of my regular models,
who attended several shows... Sam Phillips (anyone that has met Sammie remembers her... )

She does a radio show in Los Angeles with Gary Garver called "The Single Life"
at 9 PM - 12M Pacific Time on Saturdays. Well they just started streaming at

The Single Life - 9 PM PT Saturdays

so any of you that want to hear Sammie can at the above link... I'm sure she'd love it
if one of you were to call in on her show !

I can't believe the people I am seeing posting here! So many memories.

Every year I am always disappointed that I don't see the 'ole regulars at Cybernet. So many gone, so many with show burnout. It is hard to believe that this is our 9th year with Cybernet. Where has the time (and the people) went?

I am not even going to start on the memories and pics - there are just too many.

I just wanted to stop and say Hi to some of my favorite people - you know who you are:-)

The good, ol' days!

I once posted a thumbnail gallery to a little site run by Kman called "Adult Buffet". And I also sent the index over to the Hun.

I remember when RB and Bob opened their second site and we practically threw a party.

And I remember some site called toomuchpron or something like that.

Melody, certifiably older than dirt (and really just certifiable)

Oh yeah, I remember...

How about...

Dravyk's strip tease? (I still have the pics)

When RB used to hang out in Ynot live chat 24/7

When TopNiche had their first webmaster get-together

When Billy got married

When RB called me Mother Theresa on Ynot (snort)

When Big Ron got the nickname '12 Clicks' from Serge

When SweetT asked me to recommend someone to help in his hospitality suite and I recommended Voo - the start of a cool biz relationship, that one was!

When TopNiche had "webmaster roundtables"

When Lensman came to the Pimp/Ho ball as Austin Powers and spent an entire night going "Groovy Baby!"

When Alyssa had an amateur site

When MikeFold explained his "Hub" theory

When Andrew started AdultFriendFinder to find a woman for himself

When Bangwang danced to the music on a grand piano

When Voo had the UGLIEST one-page wonders the net had ever seen

The first Charity Auction that Dokk mc'd - we raised, what, over 250k for charity?

The old domain auctions through Ynot

yeesh, i'm old!

Oh, and Drav, I DEFINITELY remember losing Grimmy at that strip joint lol

Feel free to add your own.

Do you remember when ...

Lensman had a links list and took photos?

SweetT's claim to fame was GeorgiaGirls?

MarcDe had only four gay pay sites?

Bob Botto posted on a free website he and Rich owned called Karas?

DragonKing and Meatman lived in Antiqua?

Nick was known for Ilynx?

CashQuest was a top sponsor with five sites?

The first time Penthouse tried to make it on the web?

You saw /knights/ in your click code URL sending traffic to Serge?

Woody's listed the best top lists?

The top traffic site was called Cliffie's?
