I have put up a rule modification.

After some group discussion among the participants, the following two changes have been made:

1. Toolbars, scumware, spyware, adware and all related ilk are now on the outlawed products list.

2. The teams may use the sponsors of their choice, although it is recommended that they use Oprano advertisers and family programs whenever possible. It was successfully argued that sponsor selection is part of an overall sales strategy and that restricting it is not in the best interests of a contest that will be measured by overall sales. Furthermore, teams do not have to reveal their sponsors until the sales period of the contest kicks in.


Hopefully that is the last of the clarifications/modifications....

But I doubt it

probably depends on when the hits start arriving lolol...

When I asked the hitman said "that day" I asked for them to turn them on at around 6:00 cst, so I assume "that day" menas they will start sometime during the next 24 hours.

We are all winners

So far not much happening sales wise. But Nick , Trev and I have been posting in the progress thread (reference above post)

as far as the ladning pages go... http://www.xxxac.com/viewcontest.htm Click the link and you can cycle through the pages as if you are the hits coming in

7041 hits delivered to the contest so far, so each team has received one quarter or so of those hits as fresh hits. Then we are all trading them to the trade script at exit, so each hit has a chance of being handled by all teams involved.

So each team has recived around 1750 fresh hits and then an unknown number of recycled hits depending on where the surfer went to a sponsor or managed to get out of the circle somehow

I switched my landing page up to try and get the most from this shitty traffic. I mean, I was 0:400 so far today on AAC for free email signups. You tell me.

BUT!!!!

I have learned many new and very valuable things from this and I don't really care about the traffic or sales at this point. It's the knowledge that I take from this that I value the most.

I seen the email thing where it keeps asking me to send him an email. What is the value of it and how is it best implemented? Is it only useful if you do mailers?
