Default Atlanta, and turkey Hill Iced Tea

I understand Atlanta has now entered the roles of the civilized world. Turkey Hill Iced Tea is Now available there.
That means it's an "open city" to me. I can travel there.
I warn you "atlantians"...... you can't just try one glass.........

no self respecting southerner drinks bottled iced tea (as opposed to fresh brewed) unless he HAS to

The RIGHT way to brew tea

1 gallon of water in a pressure cooker
add 6 family sized red diamond, luzianne or lipton tea bags
bring to boil then remove heat and steep to room temp

add sugar, mint, lemon to taste

Now THATS how ya make iced tea

Well Mike. guess that's why we have different choices. :-)

Up here? Hard to beat.

I like brewed tea too, but only with nothing in it. Turkey Hill is the only "sweet" tea I like. They are two different drinks, for different purposes, to me.

Sweet tea cannot be explained, it must be experienced.

No milk, no crumpets, no upturned pinky fingers. But it is often served on the porch in the afternoon.

so sad....the clotted cream, the strawberries, the crumpets and the silver service is what tea is all about. Its civilised. The front porch is for beer and burgers. Tea is served in the gazebo at 4:30.

You don't gotta come all the way down here to enjoy Turkey Hill Tea. All you gotta do is hop across the border there, and get some in Buffalo NY. All the Tops, Wegmans, and Kenmore jubilee stores have it. If you want to search on your own, go here:
http://www.turkeyhill.com/products/w...rkey-hill.aspx

You can also have it shipped cold, but it's expensive. 2 Gallons (4 1/2s, any flavor) for $76. If I was out of range? I'd pay.

Trying to explain proper sweet tea to a yankee or a limey is an exercise in futility.
