Bullshit Car Wash

I just had my car washed and detailed..or so he claimed. What a load of horseshit! My son could have done a better job this what this bozo did. He ran some water over it wiped it off with rag and sort of vaccumed it out. He was charging $40.00 to do it and I know that it is not a ton of money but at least he could have given me a $40.00 job. It is a $10 at best..this guy Carl does not have a job and I was trying to be nice and help him out but I feel like I have been taken for a ride..with out the fun! He had to use my stuff as well and did not even use soap. What happened here? I did not pay him yet..I told him I would get back to him after I saw the crap job he did...I will give him $20.00 and tell him that is what I feel it is worth..and that is being nice. or should I pay him at all? Is this my fault for using his service in the first place?

Tell him the job was not what you expected for $40, show him the problems, then ask him to fix it before you pay him. Still not happy? Let me know and I'll be happy to give you the $40 special myself, lol. ( and I'll bring my own soap too )

Hahaha..it sounds great and all but he is a little on the slow side and I really don't want him around my house for too long anyway. Like I said I was trying to do him a favor..next time I will just buy him his bottle of liquor and leave it at that. I am venting I guess. He has been begging me to detail my car for three months now, I just figured he is tring to start up a job...I hate to complain to a slow person that his work sucks.

I will let you give me the $40 special only if it has Happy ending!

Detailed for $40.00??!! Every spring, we bring Carol's little Miata in after winter storage to get it detailed. That cost $235.00 this year. But they do true detailing, and you can't find a spec of dust anywhere on or in or beneath the car. Even the engine is spotless. They also compound and wax the car.

A basic inside and outside wash over at the hand wash costs $15.00

That is what I will give him then...$15.00. He did not even vaccume the seats.
I use to detail cars when I was a teen and I was great at it..made lots of money and had tons of repeat biz...but I was tired of it and wanted to do something more on the fun side like work at the nuddie club serving drinks..made the same amount and I had ac...nope didnt get naked, could have made more if I did. blah blah blah

I definitely wouldn't pay him $40 for what he did but I wouldn't call it detailing either.

This is the same kind of stuff the homeless people do when they wash windshields in traffic and want money. Most of the time the windshield is dirtier than when they started. When they come near my car I tell them if they touch my windshield I'll shoot them and claim I thought they were carjackers.

LMAO...he is kinda homeless, he lives with his mom.
