Dothan is one of those towns that I remember feeling like a serious minority in. Let's you know how the brothers feel in largely white areas. On the rare occasion I saw another white guy I felt compelled to give him one of those "what'sup" head bobs just to acknowledge it.

But I'm sure there's an outstanding BBQ or southern food restauarant there somewhere.

I was born in Birmingham. Back in the dinosaur days my family lived at Ft Rucker which is nearby.

You could check out the Monument to the Hog or the Large Golden Peanut. Maybe even drive over to Enterprise and check out the Boll Weevil Monument. (I'm not making this up either).

last night was fun, the bars here stay open til 9am, but we only made it til about 4am
