Re: Ever get carried away on ebay?
What I collect isn't all that easy to find, so fortunately the opportunities to get carried away are limited.

Personally, I enjoy collecting money. I do it wherever and whenever possible. Sometimes it is in short supply and at other times, it is freely available. I sometimes trade it for cars, houses, bubble gum etc. Lately, I notice, the value is falling, so it is a good time to buy and save. The new, more colourful version is a nice addition to the collection. Since the value has been dropping, I find myself purchasing more Canadian money of late. it is prettier and appreciating daily. But that could change. I also have a substantial collection of pounds sterling. It is a bit expensive at the moment so my collection is relatively stable. I think that Euros have a good future as a collectible item. I believe they will be worth a shit pot of Pez dispensers some day. |

Re: Ever get carried away on ebay?
I collect several patterns of late Victorian Era (1880's to early 1900's) blue opalescent glass.

Re: Ever get carried away on ebay?
In the case of the pattern in the photo, only one piece has been reproduced, and it is clearly marked by the maker. All originals are unmarked. Other patterns however aren't quite so simple. You gotta know your stuff or you'll get burned bad!
