I totally feel for what your trying to say...However if you had a budget of $500 to lets say fly a girl in for a shoot and she did one and decided that it was not right for her I would have no problem with letting her go. However once again if you had invested the $500 and you had only made a $200 commission you would be in the negative. Its simple basic math. Now what justifies me not being overly chivalrous to someone who has cost me money and now is a liability instead of an asset. As per prior posts she didn’t have time to let the ball start rolling and simply thought that everything happens in an instant. I am as most capitalists here are to make a profit and not end up in the red. So here once again I would have not helped her out getting back to where she came from once again. It is not directly about my morals but the principle of the matter. I am sorry to inform you that I don’t have a massive discretionary fund at my disposal for when a model decides to back out of their prior agreements while I am to honor the same agreements which had stated that after the shoots were finished I would provide transportation back to her original pick up location.

First of all, I appreciate that you have respected my viewpoint and didn't come back full of flame. Now, I get that you aren't made of money. Very few of us are. But, things didn't pan out and with you already in the red $500 , 50 bucks to get her home wouldn't have been such a stretch. Obviously there were issues all around, but you could have done a little c.y.a. and made sure she got home. Shoulda, woulda, coulda...don't matter now. What does matter is that maybe you're more careful in the future and are more aware of how your treatment of someone can affect them and those around them in the grander scheme of things.

Well I guess we must all run in different circles within the biz since we have not heard of each another before in any respect. The only person I recognize who has posted in this thread is Jace who has been along with his wife in front of the camera as well as doing other things in the biz.


Really the final thing I wish to add to this thread is if you wanted me to admit to not having enough funds available at the time to take her ass home is YES your correct. Her return as I previously stated and told her depended on her shoots and she took the liberty to use my credit card and change $75.00 to my Visa at the gas station before we left South Florida. If by the time her shoots fell through my account would have been credited therefore allowing me to take her back to her residence. I do not have any excuse outside of the fact that she "partied" with it ($50. +) at the convention buying expensive drinks and then they handed me a bill for them. Now should I have told the Diplomat staff to "fuck off" I didn’t order any such shit...No I paid for them. (Did anyone pay for their own drinks at this convention or did everyone their use corporate charge or as I have read as well sponge off of the sponsors? If you would have you would have noticed that they weren’t $3.00 bottle/drink) I guess I should have committed theft of gasoline and "gassed and dashed" at the pump. I guess this thread would have been much more entertaining if I attempted to have the girl in question push the can when we ran out of fuel on “alligator alley”. I don’t either have any sponsors or corporate lines of credit. That’s why I have been around for so long. Might not be as successful as others in my niche but when the economy tanks there creditors will be by to pick up all that bling bling that they don’t actually outright own but yet I will still have my nothing that I do own.

The people that do business here, and there is a lot of them doing a lot of business are about as far removed from 'children' and childish behavior as you can get... I think I am treading on waters where I was with her. Either that or I am confused, as I believe she was in the end of her journey or I have confused you in my statements.

I could and would have taken her back to her location with out any difficulty while we were in the tri-county area (Palm Beach/Broward/Miami-Dade counties). It was once that I entered I-75 and went on “alligator alley” going up towards Tampa the point was then moot unless what was previously agreed upon was completed. Now you cannot call me inconsistent in my stance that I can’t apologize to someone whom I thought took advantage of me as well. So I do acknowledge that the facts are true as I did drop her off at the bus station and that it itself was wrong on my part. But I would have no backbone if I were to cave in and placate all of you and not hold my ground in what I though was the only option open to me at the time. If I would have had money for gas I would have given her bus fare as well. If you would like me to apologize to her then I would like her to also apologize to me for wasting my time and money to begin with.

No I didn’t say she had any advanced training (i.e., special forces or Navy Seals) but they don’t just let you in after taking the ASVAB and say hey your a seaman...now go join your shipmates up on deck. Charles - After reading through every post... and I mean EVERY post, it seems to me that the issue of dropping her off at the bus station was simply due to you being pissed off at her for "wasting" your time and money. If that's correct, I still don't see it a reasonable course of action to leave her 250 miles from her home. The gentlemanly to do would have been bring her home. Pissed or not. Similarly I've been out with women and spent plenty of money and things went sour for one reason or another, but I never abandoned the girl away from home.
