I can't afford another addiction right now. From the people who I know that play it seems like once you're hooked it's worse than golf, spend a lot of money learning, keep on trying and never get much better.

You CAN get better but it does take time. You will have slow progress most of the time but every once in a while, after seeing a great many hands and putting stuff together that you sawe during play, you will have a big leap in your ability. It takes patience, observation, and a lot of hands but it DOES come.

I haven't played B&M since 2000 at the Bellgio

Them and the Mirage were the only 2 card rooms in Vegas at time time, amazing how things have change...

B&M is fun but nowhere near the same amount of money can be made on a regular basis. Really where do you find 3400 players playing a $200 buyin tournament EVERY Sunday??? Stars is the only place I know of
