If I -were- to pay attention to men wearing watches however, I'd DEFINITELY be checking out the hunks who had the style & class & appreciation of a fine timepiece such as a pocketwatch... especially if it was an older one
(the pocketwatch that is, not the guy necessarily)

My everyday watch? A basic stainless-steel Rolex Explorer II that needs winding every day! For diving, for flying, and for sailing, I have others for those purposes.

A watch very few people in the world own
A Gold Seiko CSX retirement watch My aunt gave me my uncle's retirement watch when he passed away last year He worked for the railroads (C&O B&O, Chessie systems and CSX - all basically the same company through different changes) his entire life Ending up as a senior vice-president, he was a railroad man and a damn good one and I'm very honored to wear that watch every day (except when I perform and then I wear a .... um special watch) |

I have discovered a basic prinicple in life - the more expensive the watch, the more frequently I will bang it on something. I have no doubt that if I ever walked out of the door with a Rolex on, I'd be hit by a steamroller wtihin 20 minutes.
I have a couple of Fossil watches that tell perfect time.

I have a Breitling Bentley edition that I wear on special occasions, but lately i've been wearing my Red Invicta. The Invicta only cost me $180 and you would be AMAZED at how many compliments I get on it.
I bought it here: http://www.overstock.com/cgi-bin/d2....prod_id=603865 Its a great casual watch. |
