I agree with this issue. Locking threads, and banning people for personal / political reasons is silly. I beleive in freedom of speech, even if it is something I really do not agree with, or like.

Kinda funny. Ask if people really are pathetic enough to sell their sigs for 25 cents a pop and get locked. Post stupid shit in every thread and tell everyone you sold your sig for lunch money and be allowed to post.
my personal observation is that a lot of people seem to be migrating away from GFY and posting elsewhere more than in the past. it could be for a variety of reasons but i am sure that some of the sigwhore stuff which contributes to more lunacy and pointlessness than usual plays a role.
my opinion is that everytime someone has gotten agressive about policing a board, deleting posts, locking threads, banning users etc... people tend to leave.
A bar wont last long when it 86es its regulars and caters to the tourists that may walk by.
ITs the people who stayed there on the slow nights that made the bar cool, when you kick them out in favor of the new guy, you lose any respect you may have earned and people turn their back on you and your shithole bar because you have a barteneder who picks and chooses who he wants to serve or kick out.

This is pretty much the most accurate analogy of the entire dynamic I've seen yet. It's unfortunate.. and again people like Sexed are back on the loose and Labret and others are still banned, for personal reasons. It's beyond stupid.
