Took it last night, my best friend from the Marine Corp. We met at Ft. Devens in 89. We've always kept in touch, I've had him in my ICQ from the first day I got it.
He now works for Symnatec, they are about to release an anti-spam program. LOL
It's always interesting to get looks everywhere I go, you should see the stares we get when both of us walk in somewhere!
I'm at 6ft 250lbs, he's 6ft 4in 300lbs. Both our next generations are gonna be bigger. My son is now 100lbs at 8. Weren't asians supposed to be short?
from what i understand you can get pretty good att bjj even if you don't start at an early age... heard about quite a few celebrities etc doing gjj/bjj.
but like always conditioning is very important

Yep, but with anything in life, you get what you put into it.
I've rolled with a few ppl not versed in ground fighting. I've submitted all of them with either a choke, kimura or amerciana (Keylocks) within 10 seconds.
I was thinking of rolling with my Korean buddy, but he's a Kenpo BB and I don't think I can close the distance to clinch and take him down fast enough without alot of pain on my part from him. I'll give it another 6 months training.
hey ant, he's a bigun for sure, and the fact he's a fellow jarhead I know he's a good guy
when me and my 1st cousin get together we can get some attention also, I'm 6'6" at 220 and he's 6'7" and about 280.
quick story, we were riding down the road when 2 brothers cut us off and mike(cousin) told them to GFY and shot the bird, they told us to pull over, well we have never backed down from anyone and have emptied a room or 2. So we pulled over jumped out the truck ready to get it on, when they got out one had a small knife in his hand, so Mike grabs a billy club out of his truck, then the other brother reached in his car and got a pistol:/ well we then decided to be diplomatic) old saying goes, dont bring a billy club to a gun fight
that's my story for the day.

Nice story. Once you got back into your truck, did you proceed to ram them from behind and push them off the road into a ravine?
My dad just sent me a pic from my Grand Mother's Birthday party 2 weeks ago. There's 4 generations of my family there. You can see where the younger generation is bigger than the previous, with me and my girlfriend Kristen being the tallest.
I guess you have to have the ability for growth in your genes, which is untapped until you have the proper nutrition.
