Pennsbury is a typical, middle-class American high school not particularly distinguishable from others except for its larger-than-life prom productions. For more than 30 years, the school has carried on a tradition of such elaborate proms that it attracts occasional media attention, and neighbors line up to watch the parade of promgoers who have in past years passed by in cement mixers and dogsleds. Eschewing hotels and banquet halls, Pennsbury students hold their prom at the school but with extraordinary fanfare and decorations. Bamberger focuses on the prom from its planning in September until the big night in May, chronicling what compels students, parents, and teachers to invest so much of themselves in the prom and exploring what the productions signify about life in contemporary America. Among those he follows: Matt, who has progressed from the class clown to class president, and Stephanie and Rob, new teen parents who must find a baby-sitter so they can attend the prom. I was in the band that played the UK equivelent of my High School Prom.....

We sucked lol

In fact the DJ at the end of our first (and last set) , after we played something by the "Police" I think it was , played it with a comment like "This is what it should sound like"

I walked accross and punched him , repeatedly.

Sad thing is, I'm totally serious too.

I went to a very small HS (800 kids total) and I was a big ol' spookykid. They said I was a danger to the other students (this was the same time a bunch of goth kids on the east coast killed thier folks) and I was going to start killing people for satan for whatever.

Nope. Wasn't even given that option. I didn't want to be there anyway so I just got my equiv. and moved on.

Maybe it doesn't count as an actual expulsion on my record because they told my mother should I show up on campus the next day I would escorted off by police and my mother told them basicly "fuck you" and didn't make me go back.

For your information smart ass the test I took I finished first and if you pass it you would have graduated in the top 15% of your class. So neener.

Besides it was one of the worst schools in the state. I wasn't missing much except for the proper way to violate sheep.
