Crazy psycho school busdrivers

About a week or two ago, as I made a left turn on a stopped bus, the bus driver was yelling profanities at me, in front of a busload of children. She took my license plate # down, and today, I got a ticket to appear in court. Below is the diagram of what happened, and a full explanation.



The arrow is me, and the direction im going. The bus is drawn, stopped. The squares/rectangles are houses. The bigger red circle is a street stop sign, where she was stopped. The little red circle is the stop sign that protrudes from the bus. The yellow circle are the kids who just got off the bus, and already half way down the street. I drew the kids yellow because yellow is the color of caution, and in this scenario, what we are trying not to hit. If the bus was transparent, I may have been able to see her stop sign.

Of course I was going at a ridiculously slow rate, as it is not my goal or intention to mow down little children, I actually like kids and hope to have some my own one day. That is how she saw my license plate # and was able to write it down. 75% thru my turn is when I can actually see her red stop sign, of course, it is at this point 75% thru she starts yelling profanities at me. Today, I get a ticket in the mail - I am fighting it. The way she was parked, the fact I couldnt see her stop sign, the fact the kids were already off, the fact she had her own street stop sign leads me to the following conclusion: she is a psychobitch, and probably a republican

She should actually make the right turn on the street in the direction she is going to let the kids off, so everyone can actually see her red stop sign. Ask me all the questions now, so I am prepared as possible for court.

Note: I do not triviliaze the stop sign on school buses. They serve a very important cause. It is when you get a crazy ass bus driver to do shit like this, when there was no real imminent danger.

If she shows up I will have this diagram.. i will ask her some of the following questions (these arent in correct order, just some ideas):

1) I will ask her if thats the "official" stop of the school bus - it seems pretty stupid it is there, and not actually on the street, where people can have a fuller view.

2) How many kids got off the school bus - if she says 3, then all 3 kids are accounted for.

3) I will ask her how many kids got off the school bus after I made my left turn at the stop, this relates to question #2

4) I will ask her the names of the kids, where they walk, etc. - (no kids were remotely even near where i was crossing)

5) I will ask her if her red lights on the top of the bus were on (which they werent, or at least I did not see them, so in my eyes, they weren't). If she says yes, I will ask her how she knows for 100% - did she document it, after the bus route was over that the lights were working on the outside and she had it documented, is she a mechanic, etc.

) I will ask her what exactly it was she was yelling at me as I made my left turn (maybe i should leave this question out).

Would you really want this woman shouting profanities from a bus full of children .. I was on my way to church and the sheer onslaught of colourful metaphors in themselves could have caused an accident. I was completely shocked at this outburst and felt violated being a strict christian with strong religious beliefs.

i flicked her off as she was screaming profanities at me that will likely be left out of my defense, but if it comes up - I will tell them it was my duty as a New Yorker to fully express my opinion - 1st amendment protection

seriously, unless her bus was transparent, i couldnt see her stop sign, i was rolling by her at less than 5 MPH. shes a nutcase, called up the police, gave them my license plate #, and boom - now I have to go to court. Great country we live in... the best is - HOW DID THEY KNOW IT WAS ME DRIVING, i have multiple drivers listed on that car!!! She probably gave them a description of me, and they looked up the drivers and the demographics and assumed it was me. Who fucking knows.

I'm going to call up, let them know I am fighting it. I'll ask if she has to be there, if they say no - I am requesting she be subpoenaed, so I can ask her questions. The court time is 8:30 AM, so she will have to take off of work, or not show up. Btw, there was NO police officer anywhere around, she simply called up, reported my license #, etc.

so im reading the ticket, says I have to give them notice 7 days before i am fighting it, court date is september 26, i received it today, the 20th
