Missing Girl in Cali

I hope you don't mind guys, but I'm here to help a friend.

Some of you may know Albion7. His daughter, Courtney, 17, went missing on December 30, 2004 in California.

Due to her age, the California Police are refusing to put out an Amber Alert and are grouping her as a 'runaway'.

This girl has a 3.5 GPA, has a good relationship with her father, and there were no arguments prior to her disappearance.

Unfortunately, her age doesn't go over well with local police, and doesn't have the 'pull' that 'older' folks who go missing have. Basically, the system sucks.

I am here to request any help we can get.

Albion7 has put up the following webpage to help get his daughter back.

Also, if you live in Cali and have any 'contacts' who may be able to help (ie: media, truckers etc), we would appreciate it if you would speak with them as well.

I can only imagine the pain he is going through not knowing where his daughter is.

If you can help in any way, we would be most grateful.

Surely as a missing person the police must be taking it seriously????????

I would instruct an attorney immediately.

True....but at this point, ANY traffic to the page is something. The more eyes that see the pic the more people who may recognize her if they see her.

Spam the details ?

The mail could explaibn the situation and the fact that the Police are refusing to act.

The media would prolly pick up on it.

Would that be something the parents would be willing to bear?

emails have been sent out by many of us to friends/family and passed on....who knows how far they will reach....but, we will see.

Media loves bogus cops, I can't imagine that no media has not run their story unless they havent contacted any stations. Better sooner than later.

AWESOME NEWS!!! Just got this from Albion7:

NEWS!

My daughter is alive! She HAS run away!

Her boyfriend called me just minutes ago, and apparently they had a falling out. Courtney told him that if he did not love her she was going to run away.

I can't post this information on the board, but her boyfriend has caller ID, and Courtney contacted him from Hubbard, Oregon, just hours ago. He was not home at the time, so the message went on his answering machine.

I have called my lawyer with the information, (I did a reverse phone lookup and I have an exact street address), and he's ON IT!

My daughter is alive!

I can't see to type anymore, I'll post with an update as soon as I can.

Thank you! ALL of you!

I can only imagine how RELIEVED he is!

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE who offered help and support!! What a rollercoaster ride!!
