The truth is that the hotels aren't going to give them much of a discount or kickback during CES, but they will pile up the loot when you show up outside of major show times.

The show that will suffer the most will be AEE. There doesn't appear to be anywhere at the Palms to have that sort of a show, unless i missed something. It's also away from the strip which means the more casual visitor just won't take the time.
