Just get their in house or contracted programmer(s) to study the best elements of C4S and Clips.com interfaces and re-design them from scratch. People really like the downloadable clips model. I created my own downloadable clips store on JimGunn.com using free software (Wordpress) as my CMS and a script with an inexpensive monthly charge to handle the token based downlodable clips capabilities.
