OMG I have been there! Years ago in another lifetime I was a chef. I was asked to be a judge for the Chili cook off at the Dixie National Rodeo.

I still have nightmares from that event.

There was a picture on the front page of the Sports section of me with a bottle of Pepto Bismol turned up drinking it straight from the bottle with dozens of little white bowls all around me.

That was my first and last chili cook off.

If a chili doesn't at least put beads of sweat on your forehead it's a waste of ingredients.

I make a killer five alarm black bean chipotle chili.
