It wasn't planned as a day trip - phone call came in and plans changed. I got my ribs, that's all I cared about My mother grew up in Memphis and my grandparents lived there most of the time I was growing up. I've seen enough of it - just go there for food now.

I can't comment on the Peaches/rhetorical drama, but I do have an opinion on Barbeque... if you want a mouthwatering barbequed meal, come over to my place any summer evening and I'll cook ya up something delicious! I get the tastiest organic (often kosher -- except for pork) meat and marinate it in the yummiest organic spices and sauces until it's ready to be attentively seared over my perfectly heated coals. When dinner is ready, we shall feast in my private garden until our bellies are satisfied.
